That does appear to be the case. Though from what I've learned of humans, this age seems a bit appropriate for the behavior I've come to expect of you.

[There's just the faintest bit of a smirk on his face - perhaps he's joking.]

[Bruce isn't quite staring, but he's certainly giving J'onn one of his patented looks. If anything, they've only gotten worse over the years, as they're one of the few weapons left in his metaphorical arsenal.]

[There's a brief moment of surprise before J'onn looks quite pleased. Though, given who he is that's not much of an expression change.]

I believe I am as comfortable as I can get in such a place. Though if you have not managed to find a way out, that does not bode well.

This place seems fond of bringing me my comrades at different ages than I am used to.

That does make sense, given what little I have gleaned of these 'games' from my mundane. You do seem well, all things considered.

[Blunt, but expected given what he knows of human aging and of Bruce's manner in general. Either way, he doesn't seem bothered by the tone.]

Learning what I can of this place is a priority, as well as attempting to determine what my mun wants of me.

That is good. [J'onn nods. Given the way she spoke of them, he figures it's safe to assume they're not like the Justice Lords.] Things will likely work out, then.

[Initially, J'onn recoils at the telepathic message, as it's been so long since he's conversed that way with another Martian. That, and ever since his encounter with Morgaine Le Feye, he's sworn himself to be more cautious about things that seem too good to be true.

A few moments after, he composes himself.]

I am sorry, but I do not know anyone by that name.

I hope so. I recently found out Luthor was there. [Sure, he kinda helped save the world, but damn if she doesn't want to punch him a few times.]

[ She feels the recoil and she knows that something is wrong. Uncle J'onn never recoiled like that. He was used to conversation like this. She almost wants to press in and find out why things are so wrong.

But she restrains herself. ]

[Unfortunately, J'onn is from before that point, so Luthor is still kind of a sore point.]

Hmmn. Well, I don't have to tell you to be wary. You know as well as I do just how cunning he is.

[To be fair, he always is.] That I know all too well. Galatea is there, too. She's the only one there from our universe.

[Despite the grim discussion, a smile spreads on her face.] So it's calming to see a friendly face that actually knows me here.

[A good thing, as that would likely set him on edge even further. J'onn's face scrunches just slightly as he thinks for a moment.]

While I had no niece on Mars, it is entirely possible that you hail from an alternate reality. I have run into other League members who were the wrong age from what I knew. If this is the case, that would explain why I do not recall that.

[His expression falls just slightly, because having to say this hurts, even more when taking into account the need to be forcibly distant, just in case.]

Galatea? That is a name I am unfamiliar with.

[J'onn makes a slightly annoyed face.] If I should know her, however, that coupled with your unfamiliar costume... I believe we may be from different points in time.
