It's great that you have been finding me some places to journey to. From a castle covered in mist to even a mythical castle that is shrouded in mystery. It's great that you want me to set off on a journey where I will eventually grow up to be a knight...

But... You really need to get to work on your studies and stop getting distracted! You have work tomorrow and you need to finish your study so you can do your test like you promised yourself you would. Knight's Vow #41: It's better to begin in the evening than not at all. So, you still have time! Get to it!

[The young boy sighs.]

I don't think age has anything to do with it, but rather experience. Whether you're capable of taking care of yourself or not is the important thing. I'm not that old myself, but I travel through the galaxy as a space pirate and a Gokaiger. It's a lot of fun, but there's also danger. I've got friends with me, though, and I'd recommend that to anyone other than setting out alone.

You traveled through space?! What is it like being in space?! ...I want to find the shooting star that passed by one day!

Space is beautiful. We travel on the Gokai Galleon, our red pirate ship, looking for The Greatest Treasure in the universe. We haven't found the treasure yet, but we found each other, and together we're fighting the Zangyack, who are trying to destroy every planet they can.

I might have seen your shooting star out there. Right now, we're anchored on Earth, but when we finally leave, I'll keep an eye out for it.

...Wow. That is amazing.

[His smile softens, clutching onto his pendant.]

I've been following the star. I figure it'll lead me to its path. I have not met many people in my travels yet, but... I am certain that I will.

I'll hopefully have an adventure as exciting as yours.

So far, my journey had been interesting. I fell asleep on my raft and woke up falling into a waterfall. I woke up in a strange cave... A large beast that knew my father challenged me to see if I should be carrying the pendant.

[He holds up the green pendant on his neck with confusion.]

I seemed to have impressed him, or entertained him to where he let me keep a hold of it and told me to protect it. ... But he did not tell me anything about it. It is rather strange, I do not know anything about this.

[His face is filled with determination.]

But dad gave this to me, so I am not letting this go.

That's quite a story. I can understand why you want to hold onto that pendant.

Reminders of the people we love are valuable.

[He pauses, looking distant]

I don't have any physical momentoes of a man who was my senpai, just the times we shared. Our enemies turned him into a monster who didn't even remember me, and I had to destroy him.

...Nggh.

[Reize lowers his head, looking crestfallen.]

I'm sorry to hear that. ...

[Reize manages to smile.]

Perhaps you'll be able to honor him by continuing to your goal, right?

[Smiles reassuringly at him]

When I killed him, I released his soul. He was happy that I had good friends to support me now, and I was happy that he was no longer a prisoner of the Zangyack.

[Ruffles his hair]

Don't look so down. Think of your future as a Knight, and all the people you'll be able to help. [Grins] I'm a pirate, so technically, my friends and I aren't supposed to be helping anyone but ourselves. It keeps ending up that way, though.

[The smile grows and he laughs upon hair ruffling.]

Hee! ...Yeah, I'll help those in need, just like my father did when he was an explorer.

[Reize has a wider grin.]

Everyone has good in them somewhere. Maybe we'll come across each other in our own journey!
