I'm not entirely sure this is an honor I've earned, but I promise that I will do the best job that I can. It's an honor to be following in Brother and Suzaku's footsteps and I hope to make them proud of me.

But I don't think my brother is going to approve of anyone throwing me off of any tall buildings. Just so you know.

... I would sort of hope that more people in general wouldn't approve of that but your brother, miss. You seem like a nice girl, would be a shame if only one person disapproved of you getting tossed of a skyscraper.

Ah, well, from what I've heard, that's how the new Angelii are taught how to fly. I suppose they are of the mindset of the only way to learn it is to use it.

... And this? This is why I don't trust angels! besides the whole part where they want to scrub my stain of an existence from the fabric of reality, but hey, demons, angels, it happens, nothing you can really hold against them and so on.

Oh, it's not Angels, not in that sense!

[She flounder for a minute on how to explain it.]

In Nautilus, everyone is what we call 'wakened.' There are just different levels of being awakened, most of us are just that, simple awakened, while other ascend and have more responsibilities and abilities. Angelii is what we call the next level and then Ashure is the one beyond that. My brother is an Ashura and I will soon be ascending to Angelii.

Now, the whole building-pushing isn't really what you must do to "ascend" then, just how you learn how to fly?

That or Antovil just likes throwing people off buildings.

... One would think that's the sort of thing people would've had an interest in figuring out before they allow them to throw others from buildings, but that may just be my cynicism shining through.
