I know the Fates [ ...mods. ] haven't actually decided that I'll end up there, but an abandoned college campus with vampires on fire in the middle of winter isn't my idea of a fun time.

Not that life on the turtle's been horrible. I mean, okay, skydiving with a cute guy is a plus. But it's not exactly a vacation there all the time, either! Like sending me into a nightmare world was at all fair.

They're fine, just- I found out what happened to them, about Tartarus, but not because they told me. [ h u f f ] So I got mad and then Percy got mad because I was a jerk about it, and things are weird with Annabeth because of that, so. They're fine, they're just not fine with me.

And I guess I'm a little bitter about it, so when I found out that they hadn't told me the whole truth, it got to me.
