and then rule 63 struck - kill me now
And the point of this then? My patience for folly extends only as far as my patience for Starscream's backstabbing, shenanigans and ridiculously short vision.
[Which is to say, not far at all, considering the whine of the cannon.]
You better have a reason for dragging me out here, or Primus help you, fleshling. I am Megatron, lord of the Decepticons, and beings more powerful than you have attempted to chain and own me, and have failed!

The next question, however, has Megatron's expression slide from incredulous to a brief explosion of laughter, and then back.]
He's my second in command, and I pity anyone who would decide to indulge with him, as narcissistic as he is! He may have talent, but it's sorely weighed down by his lack of vision and attempts at disposing or undercutting me.
[He's the second in command for a reason, of course, but even when he isn't present all that he'll get is being damned with faint praise. If that. Megatron's voice is full of scorn.]

[It's said in a very teasing manner. She probably didn't believe it, but there was a truism to the saying 'the lady doth protest too much'...]
There anyone you do fancy? Or are you an all work, no play sort of gal?

[There's no roaring rampage of revenge denouncement of the teasing, merely an annoyed sneer; mostly at the thought of Starscream himself rather than Jessica and what she's claiming.]
Hn. Rather human of you; I'm most certainly too busy to indulge in anything deeper than what might be necessary to get rid of the temporary charge.
[And whoever she choses to does so with, and if, is entirely her business.]
I've never understood you humans'... obession with mating.

Toon, honey. We don't... do that, either. Not willingly. If it's scripted, sure. But we aren't made that way. Most of us don't even have the capacity to do so. We aren't drawn that way. But having a fella, a husband like I do? That's about having someone you love with you. Companionship. Someone to spend your days with that you know will be there for you.

Indeed not?
[Curious.]
I've noticed that despite their obsession, humans can be exceedingly avoidant with anything regarding procreation and the state necessary to get there. Would that be why you're not... made thay way?
[Such insipid behaviour she'd expect of them, really.]

Honestly, honey? I don't know. Plenty of toons like the flash in the pan lead ups to... well, it. Most of us, at least the ones I know, can't understand the actual appeal. Supposedly it's like paddy-cake for them, but I don't understand how it could be. Maybe that's why they're so 'avoidant' with anything needed to get there.

Humans are simple, crude creatures. It doesn't surprise me they'd be contradictory and foolish.
[So, since she doesn't understand it either, she'll just dismiss it.]
