yay avengers a.i.

Look at that, my own team of androids and robots! Oh, you say "nothing can go wrong with this" with so much sarcasm. Have a little imagination!

Though if I'm smart and if I learn from old friends I would have an E.M.P disruptor handy, just in case. [but he probably doesn't so yay]

...Hank, buddy, your track record with AIs isn't exactly the best.
arach_nerd: (What can I say?)

[personal profile] arach_nerd 2013-08-21 05:23 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I'm just sayin, you're deliberately tempting fate. Heck, you're practically painting a big target on your butt and shaking it in Fate's face.

There is no way this will end badly.

And my humor is lost. Ah, well. I'll just be over here, cheering you on from a safe distance.

It's not that I don't have confidence in your abilities, but...

[but...]

There are so many ways that could end unfortunately for you it isn't even funny.

[Heh heh.]

Funny in the way that you people never learn until you've been horrifyingly mutilated by your own creations, or maybe when you've unleashed an awful predatory scourge into the universe? Or maybe even when there's a giant killing machine bent on having his gruesome revenge on you, specifically.

Oh, certainly. The idiocy of humans is usually at least mildly entertaining.

Yeah, that totally doesn't have 'cataclysmic disaster' written all over it.
smarterthandad: (They left us with a babysitter.)

[personal profile] smarterthandad 2013-08-21 05:40 am (UTC)(link)
There's no way the Doombot's actually on your side, you realize.
smarterthandad: (He'll cut off his own head or something.)

[personal profile] smarterthandad 2013-08-21 05:07 pm (UTC)(link)
It's more Uncle Doom spying on you or triggering a failsafe I'd be worried about.

[Yes, that's what she calls Dr. Doom. Reed Richards' family is not normal.]
smarterthandad: (We don't want to miss our flight.)

[personal profile] smarterthandad 2013-08-21 05:27 pm (UTC)(link)
[She can't tell if she's being patronized or if Hank's just finally snapped.]

I'm told we're going to be out of the universe for a while 'cause Dad can't stay put. Call the Avengers.

You know, they could always figure out a way to mitigate the effects of an EMP generator anyway.

Call me crazy, but this sounds like a bad idea.

Victor.

[ Yep. Victor. ]

I don't know if he's someone you should be trusting, and I'm saying this as a friend, and not as someone who doesn't really like him.
liverletdie: (Bitch pls)

[personal profile] liverletdie 2013-08-21 04:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Are we talking about the same Victor? Von Doom? Or is this another Victor?

Because I'm pretty sure the answer to that is obvious. Especially when Doombots are involved.

[personal profile] liverletdie 2013-08-21 04:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah. Son of Ultron. [ who's stuck in the past? This guy. ]

I can see why he'd think that. Considering he's the son of Ultron. Even if he doesn't mean to, you know how Ultron operates.
liverletdie: (Extremis | Seriously guys)

[personal profile] liverletdie 2013-08-22 02:55 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, yeah, but it's always there. Waiting.

[ Not that he has his own weird Ultron Issues. ]

Hopefully, it won't go that way, but there's nothing wrong with being a little cautious.
liverletdie: (Heh wow)

[personal profile] liverletdie 2013-08-24 07:27 am (UTC)(link)
You don't have to be so overt about it.

[ Says Mr. I'm saving thor's hair so I can make a cyborg clone whatever thing that was. ]

I'm just saying, Ultron has a way of coming in and surprising us every time, remember? [ Not. Bitter. ]
liverletdie: (Orbital)

[personal profile] liverletdie 2013-08-24 07:54 am (UTC)(link)
[ When you get turned into a woman who looks like Jan then you can talk, hank ]

Of course he should.

I just think planning for the event that the chance is wasted isn't a bad idea either. Sure, give him the chance, but don't get caught with your pants down. That's just bad planning.
liverletdie: (Look at you)

[personal profile] liverletdie 2013-08-24 08:13 am (UTC)(link)
What, me? [ A beat. ] Nah. I don't. [ Yes he does. ]

I just think it wouldn't be a bad idea to have something in place. Overconfidence can be a problem in our line of work, you know.

[ :| ]

Clint doesn't have the potential to cause a lot of damage. [ This isn't evasive at all. ]

It's not like he needs to know, and it might work out for the better if we have it, just in case.
liverletdie: (There's something wrong here)

[personal profile] liverletdie 2013-08-24 08:43 am (UTC)(link)
I just don't want to see this go badly.

I think you know it's best for everyone if it doesn't, and ensuring that is important. [ Tony Stark: excellent human being. ]

Don't worry, it's not my project, I'm just giving you my two cents.
crimson_sonar: (dd - is that an iPod?)

[personal profile] crimson_sonar 2013-08-21 06:55 pm (UTC)(link)
I think the problem with mundanes is that they have too much of an imagination sometimes, Hank.
crimson_sonar: (dd - noticed)

[personal profile] crimson_sonar 2013-08-26 05:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Good point. Though you have to admit, too much imagination from them usually doesn't end well for us.
