I am honored that you decided to pick me up as a muse, Miss Mundane.

I don't know what you plan to do with me, but I have duties I should get back to. Must find the prince. I fear what that homunculus has done with him. There has to be a way to free the young master from its influence. I will not fail him again.

Well, a lot of the weird places our mundanes send us to do that? Like the world I am in for example. But you can ask the Goddess for things. They just come with a price to them.

They are? Is it the world that is preventing them to use their alchemy? Or is it something more sinister?

It's these collars the goddess puts on us. It keeps Ed and Al from doing alchemy and me from being able to sense the Dragon's Pulse, among other things.

[Which would be a pretty cool ability to have, really, if he needed it.]

[He bows his head a bit, not sure what to say. He wants her there with him and yet this place... it would put them in an awkward position, one he didn't want her to have to suffer through.]

Well, it certainly would feel more like home if you were here. It has beaches and the sand almost feels like walking through Xing, if you close your eyes. The place doesn't get nearly as hot though, I don't think.
