If it's anything like the trains I've seen, I don't think it's going to be very fun. I guess there isn't much I can do now. As long as I can leave it once and a while...

[There's a long pause, and she looks surprised, then slightly exasperated.]

Yay...trains. Whoopdie doo. I like travelin' but not bein' able to get off at any stops and no bike? Yeah, I'm not too happy 'bout that.

[She's not looking too happy herself, but she's trying to do the whole 'look on the bright side' etc thing.]

Well, it could be fun. Meeting new people, figuring out what's going on. Nothing like a good mystery, right?

[She's trying super hard to be upbeat about this mess.]

[She raises her eyebrows at him, smiling.]

Well, it would be convenient if we managed to get a detective on there. They could figure out what was going on, and get us off that train faster than a chocobo can run.

A what? What's a chocobo? Is it like a chocolate bunny? Sounds weird.

[He chuckles.]

Chocobos are huge birds used for transportation! Or people could just breed them and sell them, but I never learned about that part of it.

Interesting. Never thought 'bout giant birds. Man, that sounds awesome! I've ridden an ostrich once when I was a kid. That was fun.

Huh. Well, chocobos are really the only animal people ride where I'm from. Chocobos can be very affectionate, too. Especially if you feed them.

Then you can train them to travel anywhere! Even over water.

[She hasn't been able to do that one just yet.]

It's not really a common thing to do, but I guess some people might. They are just huge birds, after all.

I wouldn't try to but in a survival scenario, it might be necessary. Just thought I'd ask.

[It's pretty much the same with horses in his world and it's been known to happen from time to time in desperate situations.]

I never thought of it that way. Then again we've always been able to find a town or something before supplies ran out and we got to that point.

[Still hard to picture eating a cute chocobo, but if the situation were desperate...who knows?]

What do they look like? I'm interested now that we're talkin' 'bout great big birds.

No worries 'bout me killin' one, if that's on your mind. If they can still move and their legs aren't broke, what's the point in puttin' one down?

They're very tall. At least, taller than any human I've seen! Yellow and very squawky. But they're also very affectionate.

Oh well...if it were injured that badly I don't think that's too bad...

Mostly, I just want to know what's going on! Who's in charge, where we're going. Things like that.

Maybe less 'special', and more like 'mysterious'. Leaving is definitely not an option on this train. I guess having my powers should make me feel a little better, but I'm still a little unsure about it.

[She liked being able to ~roam through nature~ after she left Midgar. Cramped spaces are definitely not on her list of favorite things.]

Mysterious? {that doesn't sound good and she doesn't like the idea of Aerith being trapped either. Aerith is supposed to be free and wild and poking at bee hives with sticks.} But - it's a train. It's supposed to have stops you can get off at. Otherwise what's its purpose?

The planets align and all is right when there's Tifa & Aerith mischief!

Usually they do, but this one doesn't. Nobody knows why, but I'm sure a group will get together and figure it out.

[Her pushing her way into this group goes without saying, because hey, she wants to know what's going on, too! Maybe she can jump off and live in a field with plenty of wildlife to pester to take care of!]

{because it's got to be going somewhere. Though if it doesn't have any stops to get off on along the way, Tifa's a bit worried that where it IS stopping is somewhere no one would have chosen to go normally.

No idea. All anyone knows is that we're just stuck.

[Aerith's thought about that, too. It's a little worrisome, but she's trying not to let it worry her too badly. What's the worst that could happen? Well besides death of course.]

Not so far, it's just me. It would be nice to have someone there I know, so I keep hoping maybe someone will show up!

{if her mun thought she could get away with it, Tifa would volunteer to join Aerith in a heartbeat. Girls need to stick together! As it is, she's stuck worrying about her instead and wondering who they can rope into going with Aerith younger Cloud might have already been considered but it was pointed out that every single post would be him puking on random strangers.}

Well, I know you'll make new friends once you're on the train but it's always nicer to have friends already there. {she'll take Aerith's hands in hers, worrying. Always worrying. It's what she does but she's going to put a good face on it too because there's positive that can come out of it too and she'll focus on that for her friend (and then worry when she's alone again).} We'll just have to keep an eye out of our friends to convince them to go with you too. There aren't as many AVALANCHE members around here but I bet we can find some if we keep looking!

[Aerith would love to have Tifa there, but she knows sometimes things don't work out the way she'd like. Poor young Cloud, his motion sickness is a monster, isn't it?]

You're right, I bet we can! Maybe I'll get lucky and someone will come along! [She smiles, squeezing Tifa's hands in reassurance. She knows her friend worries, and its appreciated. It's a nice feeling, to have people caring about her.]

Anyway, I'll be sure to look for the most reclusive, grumpy person on there and make them my personal project. Might as well be helpful if I'm stuck there for a while, right? Can't have people brooding on the train cars, I heard it's contagious!

That's right! Brooding doesn't do any good so they might as well get out there and help the rest of you. {and she can't help but add:} You will be careful though, right? No unnecessary risks?

Exactly! We'll be more successful if everyone pitches in. I'll be sure to point that out to them.

[She nods, hoping that Tifa won't worry too much about her. She isn't going to ask what her friend's definition of an unnecessary risk is, since she's sure she'll probably be doing some risk tasking. ]

I'll be careful! And I will choose only the necessary risks, I promise.

{given the risks she's already taken since Tifa's met her, she's pretty sure her idea of risks don't match Aerith's at all - but what can she do? Aerith is Aerith and sometimes you have to do the dangerous stuff for the right reasons. She's just going to work double hard to find someone to send after her though. Where's a non-puking bodyguard when you need one?}

[Aerith is pretty quick to just jump into a situation regardless of the dangers involved. She figures she can think up a way out of a sticky situation quick (hey, it's worked in the past!), but some extra help would not go awry. She's sure her mun will help her out with that part somehow.]

How could I forget? You're stuck with me no matter what. Us girls have to stick together, right?

{it's all the answer Tifa needs. If she can't watch Aerith's back there, she can at least keep touch with her elsewhere - and she's still determined to find someone to send after her friend. In the meantime though, have a full on Tifa hug and a whispered:}
