Mun. I'm glad you want to change things up. Change is good. In fact, life is like a crappy old vending machine, it requires change. Bravo.

But your idea to change things up and give me non-scrambled memories? Friends? Maybe even a family? That would be great, if they lasted. You seem to think it's going to be fun, but did you stop for a sec to think how I'd feel about it? I really don't enjoy salt in the proverbial wounds, and this is like dumping a whole damned shaker of it in there.

Oh, and my new friends might possibly find out about my less than honorable profession back home? That would be great. Just great. While you're at it, you could-- on second thought, no. Not making a joke. It would just give you more bloody ideas.

My mun is the same way. I don't think they really care if it all will come crashing down later on, yo. They just want it all now. I mean, I'm all for wanting stuff now but come on. Can't they, like, just cut us some slack too sometimes?

Tell me about it. I'd feel a little better if the planning would at least sometimes involve things I want. It's always like, "Oh, this would be funny!" or "Wouldn't it be angsty and sad if we did this?" How about, "Wouldn't it be really nice if we gave Owen a nice vacation on the beach for a few days?" Why can't that ever happen?

According to my mun, and trust me this isn't the best source ever, that's too boring. "Fluffy" times, as he calls 'em, are just not as fun as watching us struggle. If you ask me, muns are pretty sick. They're like bad guys you can't punch in the face, ya feelin' me?

Oh, if I could punch my mun in the face... Of course, then he could probably just write something and off me, but it's still tempting... I keep trying to argue at least a little "fluff", as your mun puts it, would break up the tension a little bit. I even dress it up with phrases like "effective literary device" to try and appeal to his inner writer, but it doesn't work. But I suppose it could be worse... at least there are no giant monsters.

No giant monsters huh? Yeah. My mun is kind of wanting giant monsters in Nautilus called 'Angels'. No idea what they are but I doubt they're very nice since they come from the same world as Shinji does.

Look at it this way. Your life isn't as bad as Shinji's. That might help.
