 I don't see why I would have to leave home. I admit things have been getting a bit odd lately, but I live a peaceful enough life where I am. Even with these strange powers I've been getting, I just feel like home is where I'm needed. Not necessarily where I belong, but my mother says everyone feels like that.

But it's really tempting to go explore a new world. Think of all the things that I could do there. You really know how to tempt a girl, Mun. I want to go, I just don't want to worry my friends and my mother. This is a tough call. Let me think about it. I may not be thinking rationally right now. I mean, another world! How can I turn my back on that?

There's so many things I could do there! And so much stuff there to explore. I want to see everything I can.

Yeah, like ALL the things, dude. I've been there eight months and I still haven't seen everything!

Idunnhildur? [He almost gets that to sound the way she pronounced it.]

Heh, you sound like you're right out of a Norse myth or something.

I'm from Iceland, actually! My friends call me Idunn, if that's easier for you to say. I know it's a tricky language sometimes, but my PB has an even harder Icelandic name, so it could be worse.

Never been to Iceland, actually, so I can't say I've heard much of the language. So, did your mun fill you in on the details of Nautilus? Bending and all that fun stuff?

She did. It sounds exciting - and I won't have to worry about looking a little odd when I have a slip up with my powers! It's perfect. I just don't like the idea of being totally alone much, I've always had friends at home.

I've got no doubts you'll make more in Nautilus.

Leaving home is never easy. But it's a great opportunity to meet other people!

I know! That's why it's so hard to decide if I want to go or not. It sounds like lots of fun, but a little bit scary, too.

Any place can be scary. But it's always made better by good friends who will never leave your side.

True. I could make all kinds of friends there, and who knows what they'd be like - it could really be amazing. I just worry about my mother and my friends when I'm not with them.

I'm sure they would be quite amazing.

It certainly isn't nice to leave love ones behind. I'm certain they will miss you, but I'm sure they'll be alright.

I hope they will. I don't want to stress them out too much, you know?
