dragonhaven.
Perhaps it is as you say, my lady, that I am only a young girl who knows little of dragonlore. I had no maester while I was growing up, and the stories Viserys told me concerned themselves more with how the dragons were the glory of our House, not with how their riders made them so. It may be that the dragons in these Havens can teach me much and more of that.
[ her voice sharpens. ]
But what is the price? Should I be content with knowledge that I cannot use while my people languish in Meereen? Should I abandon them without a word just so I alone may be "saved"? They look to me for protection. Should I answer by leaving them to the thin mercies of my enemies?
You think to console me by letting Drogon remain by my side — but a mother should care for all her children.
[ she knows that now. ]

But knowledge truly is power, as they say. You might not be able to use it now, but it makes it no less valuable or worthy of having.

I understand. But there is nothing to be done except to make the most of it, is there?
no subject
I suppose. Though I will not resign myself to this fate.

Nor should you. It can be an opportunity to learn and meet new people, but there must be a way out.

Are you to be sent there as well, my lady?

[ it doesn't bother her too much. it will get her away from the wardens for a while, and she has been wanting a vacation. she directs a smile at dany. ]
Please, call me Samara. I'll admit to being a bit weary of titles.

[ she can dispense with titles as well, but it feels passing strange to do the same to the name of her House. ]

You are royalty, then?
My own family were nobles, or so I was told.

Told? Were you — raised apart from them?

it's kind of nice to have a blank slate when meeting a new person. ]
Yes. I am a mage. They gave me to the Circle when I was very young.
I don't really remember them, so I cannot tell for certain if they were nobles or paupers.
