They're traitors; all of them. But him... my "big brother" is the worst. He denied mother. He destroyed her and all of our plans.

[Kadaj looks thoughtful for a moment. No one has ever willingly offered to help him before.]

[She thinks for a moment. Mother?]

Most people that get lost is because of the dungeon. Did your mother visit any dungeons? [Tall, shiny, magical thingy?]

She travels from world to world... Perhaps she did.

[Not likely if your world is still alive and kicking, though...]

She must be very brave woman to challenge the dungeon alone. Usually you need magi for guidance.

[She jumps on wall with ease and sits down.]

[He looks up at her, a bit of clarity in his eyes for a change.]

My mother is greater than any woman. She could rule everything... if not for that traitor. The black sheep of our happy family.

[Cloud watches him for a moment before smirking.]

[He takes a step closer, eying Kadaj closely. The eyes watching Kadaj aren't Cloud's normal blue anymore.]

Do you think she needs you?

[reunionist]

[Something isn't right. It sends alarm bells screaming in the remnant's head, and despite his desire to stand his ground and push back as he always did, he found himself taking a sudden half-step back.]

She needs me. Mother does so much for me. But you... you... traitor. You have no right to even talk about her. [He points at Cloud, his expression speaking his silent accusation.]

*raises an eyebrow* Problem, Kadaj?

[His lip curls slightly.]

*shrugs* Well, since yer whinin' so loudly... Call me curious.

Can't say I'm terribly sad t' see you pissed, after all.

[He turns away.]

I don't want to talk to you. If I have my way, I won't ever have to look at your face again.

[He looks over his shoulder.]

I'm afraid I'll have to decline.

[At least as far as these gross human apes go, he's decided.]

[Kadaj bears his teeth and takes a half step back. How is this even possible? He stare at Sephiroth, mouth agape before finally managing to speak.]

[He hisses, continuing to back away. All in all, Kadaj knows there is no escape. Sephiroth is there-- in his mind, in his very being, and nowhere is safe from him.]
