A "Fresh start" as a human and having human emotions.

Which, again, we needn't hold onto for long. Either way, did we not collect data on a number of things in that vein? Love, anger, greed...

What better way to understand our enemy than to become like them for a time?

Not to mention -- it will net us two complete copies of human data, with all the comprehension that we sorely need.

Gathering the data that way would help papa more. There's less chance to screw up if it's directly loaded into our memory.

[And if it were two complete sets, at least she would see to it that she didn't fail in giving it back to Messiah as needed.]
