As much as Saix had angered him in their encounters, he was also one of the ones that had Sora wondering if just fighting the Nobodies without trying to find some kind of compromise was really the right thing, what with the man's pitiful plea to Kingdom Hearts asking where his heart was...]

They weren't like that before. They were best friends. The kind of friends that could tease and poke fun at each other and understand that nothing was really meant by it. I don't know what exactly happened between them, but it could have had something to do with them being jerks.
