I've not had my mundane for very long but you are right. They do know this. But in the end, and believe me I do not like admitting to this, we have no control over what they wish to do with us whether it is to our liking or not.

The best thing we can do is to hang tight and enjoy the ride as much as possible. The more we attempt to dissuade them, the more they stop listening to us.
