Well, your dads have combined forces before, so it might not be that far-fetched of an idea.
whitewizardgirl: (well hi there)

Why not have the best of both worlds? [Only for you, Yuiko-chan. Only for you.]
whitewizardgirl: (grin)

So long as you have other monsters, spells, and traps to help out your monsters, you should be fine. [Why do you think your daddy and Uncle Yuugi keep Kuriboh around?]

[Uhh, not entirely what I meant.]

The smaller ones can be used to give yourself some time to get the more powerful ones out on the field, yes. But sometimes, the smaller ones can be the ones winning the battles for you, not just the big ones.

[Reminded of her own deck] By keeping your opponents guessing, giving you the advantage.
whitewizardgirl: (Is Kura-chan not amused?)

What about your Daddy's Kuriboh card? It's a pretty low level card, but he's always pulling your Daddy out of some sort trouble. [Quite a few, actually. And didn't it beat one of Kaiba's execs in the virtual world by multiplying and farting rainbows or something?]

[Would mention that one duel in DK where one of his low level monsters almost beat her Tou-san, but that's probably not a story for a young kid to hear]

Well, your Uncle Yuugi defeated all three god cards in one turn once, with the help of his magic cards and he used some of his weaker monsters.
whitewizardgirl: (Little bit of a tease here~)

[Your Tou-san has seen a lot of funny things in his lifetime, Yuiko-chan. That was practically one of the tamer ones.]

It was just your Daddy and Uncle Yuugi dueling. [Fate of the world and your Daddy too, but whatevs.] But, given the right circumstances, I think it is possible to win with your weakest monsters. Depend on only the strong ones, and you'll already be losing.
whitewizardgirl: (Is this really necessary?)

[And three guesses as to who loses all the time. Here's a hint, he's tall and has a fetish for long coats.]

Without the weak ones, the strong ones wouldn't have anyone to protect. Then they'd get pretty lonely.

[Wait, where did this come from?]

What do you mean? I like you, a lot. I care a lot about you. [Almost like a little sister or a daughter to me.] What brought this on?

... What's wrong, sweetheart? [Kneels in front of her, to look her in the eye]

You can tell me, you know that right? I won't get mad or anything.
whitewizardgirl: (Awesomest top ever)

Please? [I will tickle you to death if you won't tell me. And my tickling takes no prisoners, just so you know.]

I'm not arguing with you.

...I'm just trying to give you a few pointers. [She can tell that you take after Kaiba in his dueling style, and though it works for him, it probably won't work for everyone.] I'm not the greatest duelist in the world, but I've been around it long enough to see what works and what doesn't.

I'm not trying to put you down for wanting to duel the way you want to, but I just want you to at least consider all the possibilities. To see all of the advantages, big or small.
