I suppose it's hardly surprising that I'm not happy with this most recent turn of events in this place you've shoved me. I know it's temporary and that it will end. That doesn't mean for one moment that I have to LIKE what's happening.

And while we're on the subject of things I don't like? I miss the others. I miss Jacqueline. And I miss Brian. Blade. I even bleeding well miss Pete Wisdom, if you can believe that. ~~I miss Dane so much.~~

I know, I know. Not likely to hear much out of any of them. A girl can dream, though. I think we could use some more help in the House, that's all.

I'm not certain anybody would call your personality an asset, Wisdom. Might leave the last couple of letters off of it.

[She opens her mouth, then flushes, flustered.] I didn't do it on purpose! And no, I don't think it's Plotka, either. Excalibur hasn't reacted that way, at least. It's just...It's hard to describe. The House seems to pull people in, extends time--or at least runs on its own time. And there are spirits in the house that want to kill people.

I don't really understand it, but I suppose I don't have to. People get hurt and I do my best to get them back on their feet again.

At least the zombies were only a one time thing?

As for the rest... [He considers the situation for a moment!] Sounds like it's either a freak supernatural occurrence, or someone playing a sick game with you. Think this has anything to do with all the evil we... er, I released from Overworld?

I'm leaning more toward 'sick game'. Mostly because it appears that we've hopped dimensions in order to get to this house. Which, I have to admit, is part of the whole superhero experience I wouldn't have minded missing out on.

My mun thinks it's doubtful, mostly because the mods hadn't really read our canon until recently. I suppose it doesn't mean there couldn't be some of that involved, but I think it's safe enough to say you don't have to beat yourself up over this one.

Ah. Alternate dimensions. That's a bit messy. Wish I had Brian on the phone for this. Or Alistaire.

So this is some sot of multiple realities gambit - not orchestrated from, or concentrated on our world? That's good and bad. For one, it might not be a national security issue... But it's got you snatched up, and I'm not one to wait till it's sorted to get you out.

You are looking for extraction, right? Or back-up?

Near as I can tell, no. I mean...they've grabbed Captain America? Though my mun says he's not the same Captain America from my world. And no, I didn't embarrass myself talking to him.

[For that, Pete? You get a look.] Extraction if we can get everybody out. Back up would be appreciated, no matter what.

Captain America? Hope you got a good one, at least. And not a jingoistic shit like the one I've heard about.

I'll see what I can do on my end. So you're committed, then? We've got people in need of rescue? (And I won't ask you to clarify if they're civilians from our world...)

Mun says that he's from the movies and that that's better than he's been in a lot of the comics.
