Reserved at Mayfield

So Mun...

This place you're taking me. It sounds like a welcome walk in the park compared to where I was. But I still don't understand why. I was getting closer. Closer to Claudia, to finding out the truth. So why the interruption? What's so important in Mayfield?

... Oh. HE'S gonna be there. Just great. Looks like my life's gonna become a dumb sitcom here for awhile. Yanno, both you and that other mun have a terrible sense of humor. Look at me not laughing.

'Course... that by an' large depends on what kinda head ya end up in, an' what their plans are. Sure, some of these places're hellholes that defy description, but some...

Some're jes' like people're most, except crazier. Not crazy in the Hannibal Lecter sense, more like the Looney Tunes sense. Dependin' on what place ya go to an' how fond yer handler is on hurtin' ya... some people can even find their lives'n here better than their lives back home.

Sure, over all it evens out to "this's as good as it gets". But hey... ya might jes be lucky an' end up on the positive side a' the statistics.

Except... I can't stay there. No matter how bad or good it will end up being, I can't stay. I had something I needed to accomplish back there... where it all began. In Silent Hill.
