[community profile] exitvoid User Name Change c:

You just can't give that up, can you? You even went as far as to change my user name.

Just because I happen to share a few interests with Holmes and perhaps one or two character traits does not make me related to him. Don't get me wrong-I'm thrilled to get to be associated with the legendary detective in any way but this isn't exactly what I had in mind. I want to be just like Sherlock Holmes, not be his son.

And before you say anything, there's nothing wrong with a parents I have now. ...Although, I guess it would be pretty cool to be Holmes' kid.

[even being related to him? you know who else is related to him? Mycroft. you know what Mycroft is? 100% Uncool.]

Not to mention everyone else's on the ship.

What do you mean it would be cool?

[yes he's going to come back to that.]
inventedconsultant: (Hadn't thought about it like that.)

Would this be at all changed by being related?

Because, a notion that any implication of a bond by blood or by law would alter our relationship would be a misplaced one at best.
