well, now. he's a little offended! i mean, who wouldn't be? is he not interesting enough, is that it? the dragon's upper lip lifts to reveal a nice line of teeth, his eyes narrow, and his tail flicks. already taking him away from home was bad enough, he's not too keen on relying on your "clicks". c'mon, at least do something-- it's boring here! a dragon could only nap for so long before getting a little restless, you know . . . !

[ oh, hiccup. hiccup is always good! watch out, man! he hasn't seen a hiccup in ages, so he misses you pretty badly!

he wiggles, jumps around a little, then pokes his snout right into hiccup's stomach with excitement, probably enough to make him fall over. incoming slobber and overgrown dragon-purring, tongue to the face-!! ]

[ at least someone understands!! and hey, two hiccups instead of one-- he's really not minding this! toothless gives a quick scoff, an "i know!", but then trotting up to the boy and rubbing past him with a low, gurgling rumble, a soft one, a docil one, like a cat would at your legs with a purr.

except this is a large dragon that has enough strength to topple your poor legs. sorry, sometimes he just forgets how big he is! ]

[Maybe one day he will be less of a twig boy so he can stay on his feet better, but oh well. He's used to this anyway and even being on the ground isn't gonna stop him from reaching up and petting his head.] Hey boy. I missed you too.

Though, on the bright side, even if their interest does wane, there's that new season to remind them how awesome you are.
