[ Her voice is immediately serious as she pulls out of the hug, placing her hands in his gently, not wanting to let go. ]

Don't worry, Yukki. I'll protect you.

[ A sigh. He knew this wasn't going to be an easy topic. ]

Yuno... if we're there, that means we're both dead. And we can't die twice. [ Of course, he also knows that's not necessarily what she meant by 'protect.' ] I think it's a lot better than the last place we were at together. Even if I'm not very good at the schoolwork, and Haruhi's a lot better than me at sports...

[ She knows that even though they can't die twice, the pain of the 'death' actually hurts. And she doesn't want him to feel any sort of pain, whether it be emotional or physical. But she does agree, it's better than the last place. ]

[ After all, she wasn't one of the top students for nothing. But then you mention her name. She knows who this 'Haruhi' is, a little (actually, all she knows is that she's a girl who can interfere with her love life, really), but it's not something that she likes. ]

Okay. We will. [ His hands squeeze hers, as a way of showing he was serious about this. It's kind of ironic that their only chance to live a normal life was when they were both dead. But at this point, he'll take it. He loves her, and he misses her.

[ She's slightly annoyed at the fact, she would have honestly preferred if a straight male who didn't care about Yukiteru at all whatsoever taught him the dos and do nots of the afterlife. ]
