open invitation, come one, come all!
I'm not really sure this is the best introduction.
Oh no. Don't get me wrong. I do like the chance to get out and I think it's wonderful having a place for everyone from all the games to meet and get the chance to hang out together. New places to explore as they open up sounds like fun too.
edge_of_sanctuary has a very nice ring to it. It's not too ominous sounding.
I just think you could have introduced me with a little less innuendo and a little more...
{sigh}
Yes. I suppose it could be worse. You could have titled it My Other Ride Is a Chocobo.
So, thank you. I guess...

[He...kinda walked right into that one, didn't he?]
But if it sounds that way, what else can I do but admit it sounds that way?
no subject
I guess so. I guess as intros go it could have been worse. Do you run into those kinds of problems with your mun?
no subject
Oh, all the time. It's such a common occurrence, actually, that I expect it. I don't encourage it but I know better than to try to fight it.
[Mainly because his mun seems to enjoy embarrassing him at any possible moment. You thought your intro was bad, Tifa?]
no subject
Really? Like what?
no subject
[No, really. It's that bad.]
no subject
I'll try to remember you as I knew you.
no subject
[Very well. He can never resist saying no to a beautiful lady.]
My first appearance was in one of those, ah, morning after scenarios. One of which involved me waking up with two of my closest comrades.
[A beat.]
Together.
no subject
together?
oh.
oh...
huh.
Come on, Tifa. There's got to be a polite and helpful way to respond to that. Think!}
That sounds very... warm?
no subject
Warm?
no subject
Well... Sometimes it's cold in the morning. So it's nice to have someone there to help keep you warm. Two other people must be - very warm.
Icon seemed appropriate
... One of them was a man.
lol poor Edgar
well, when you say it that way.
She's kind of running dry on trying to put a supportive spin on this.}
So that must have been awkward. You're still friends?
no subject
[And he feels a migraine coming on, particularly due to the sound of his own mun cackling away.]
Awkward doesn't begin to describe it. We swore not to speak of the incident again.
[Oops.]
no subject
{that's an amused hum because yes, she caught that slip. But it's okay. She won't tell.}
Well, at least everything worked out in the end. And you're right. My introduction doesn't seem that bad anymore.
Thank you.
no subject
[In other words, you're welcome Tifa. He's glad his embarrassing anecdotes help you feel better.]
As long as the word doesn't spread, mm?
