[Gabriel supposes that it can't hurt to tell her some things here, in this strange world-between-worlds place. Although calling her by her given name is a bit forward for how he was brought up, so he doesn't yet do that.]

We're called Shadowhunters and we use many weapons but most commonly you'd know them as knives or swords. We protect the world from demons and other hideous creatures such as vampires and werewolves.

Shadowhunters? Brrr, those demons and things sound scary! We only ever had to fight an Angel! ... with knives for hands and stuff!

[Yui shakes her head.] We were convinced for a long, long time she was one, though! She turned out to be human like us, she just wanted to help us move on... she was really crappy at talking to people, though! So there was a biiiig misunderstanding!

So there were battles everyday! Bam, bam, rat-tat-tat, with gunfire from our side and she'd fight us off with knives!

It was scary. 'Course, we're all dead, so nobody died. We just fought every day.
