What do you mean I can't have a wolf or two? Not as if I would encourage them to shift and stay that way. Minions are a part of my entire history, not to mention wolves. Why would adopting a werewolf or two be wrong?
Would you stop calling it abuse? If they behave, then there's no abuse.

[He's actually genuinely curious, not really intending to insult.]
Wolves have packs.

Yes, yes they do. Well, some of them do. Some are on their own. Others have lost their packs. Then there's the ones that want out, who want a better life.

You pamper werewolves?
[He's done trying to understand people.]
Aren't you... I don't know, kind of afraid they might try to kill you or something? I mean, I'd be kind of afraid of that.
Omegas... They're weaker than other wolves though... What would you want with them?
no subject
[Entirely ignore the guy locked in the hospital for the insane. Not counting him at all.]
Shouldn't they be pampered? Besides there are methods I have for ensuring they don't do that. I'm against dying. [Again.]
Are you asking because you want to come rushing in to save them, or are you genuinely curious about working for me?
[Maybe he should just start calling it that.]
no subject
[Oh man, he feels like he's stepped into something he shouldn't have.]
Are you a hunter or something? What are you even having them do?
[Isaac the #1 worst at hiding what he is.]
no subject
[Which he knows a little something about.]
A hunter? No! God, no. Let's go with or something. Or something sounds right.
For the time being it wouldn't be much. Companionship. Assistance when I need it. Protection.
no subject
Why do you think werewolves are below you? I mean, if you need protection that means they're stronger than you anyway...
[Well then, mysterious mister, you're getting labeled as a witch until he figures out what's going on.]
What do you need protection from? Other than Alphas that I'm sure you're making mad.
[Stealing packmates never goes over well.]

Why not seek someone natural strong with a nature for servitude?

Best to serve them in partnership. Mutuality. It bears sweeter fruits.

If this is commentary on past ways that might have earned a man a reputation, I have learned some things.
Or are we talking in generals?
no subject
I know not this reputation. Does it precede you?
Knowing your fellows works best in preventing discourse.

If this turns into why can't we all just get along I swear I might have to kick a puppy or something.
Okay, not entirely circumspect.

[ Humans keep dogs, don't they? They're supposed to shoot the wolves. ]

And how would you defend yourself against them?

Then again, that makes sense. Predators joining with other predators. [ He gives a shiver at the thought of having both a snarling snout and a man's rifle pointed at him at once. ]

[Not that he's denying it, just playing.]
Though I'm curious how many a werewolf you've encountered. You're well versed in them then? [If so, he might well be able to help him find what he seeks.]

[ He fixes a questioning look on the stranger. ]
I know well enough about wolves. What is a "where-" wolf?
no subject
[Amusement tinges his tones.]
Oooh. Call it... Magical animals. Shapeshifters. You've never heard of them?
