There are things that cannot be comprehended.

All the same...to some it is a formless void, to others, a blank canvas with endless artistic possibilities.

Sort of like mankind. Their malleable personalities present boundless opportunities, don't you think?

Malleable, sure. But they have free will. They can choose to be what they want to be, what they wish to be. Do we have those same choices? Do you?

Which is hardly punishment really. Playing with humans is a lot more fun than dealing with the self-important slaves that stuck with God. [He considers the angels that didn't fall it weren't kicked out to be nothing more than slaves with the illusion of divinity.]

The adulation can, I'm sure, be a bit much. Of the angels. Walking among the humans can be a bit of a thrill. Or a puzzle.

Well, if everything is destined then free will is an illusion and no one really has it and, then, he who placed the idea is a liar and a cheat. If not everything is 'written in the stars' then, yeah...I was sent to watch over,I made choices that were frowned upon and got me kicked out by the Big Man.

So either I have free will, or was designed to fall. Tell me, what sort of jerk would plan for me to fail? To design a flaw and then damn me for it?

I dunno. Seems to me, either God is not really all-powerful, or he's a selfish, hypocritical tyrant.

You're not human, are you? For what purpose would you or I or...heh God have for free will? Humans have it. Do we? Why should we? If you were flawed enough to fall and you were meant to fall, is it not possible that God was designed to create a being that would be designed to fall?

It's all very murky.

And then we were apparently not good enough and men were created, and many of the angels felt betrayed, and suddenly some of us realized we had the ability to say We will not bow.

If that was planned, why was the reaction an order to exile founded from wrath?

Think of it like this. God loves you. He loves loves everyone. But he has to love you, he can't not love you. It's a physical connection. You come from God, everything comes from God. Everything is part of God. Deus caritas est, God is love. God love. But. Maybe that's a problem. Because if God loves everything that comes from him, and suddenly that love isn't returned? Maybe it's a conflict?

[ He can see both, though he doesn't bring it up yet. He's Lucifer, light and beauty personified - but also temptation in all it's forms. Some are merely drawn to him, but he's always curious if they know what they are seeking.
