[Jaime looks at her pondering, and ravaging the bits of memory he had. He had too many cousins that he could care for]

[The Lady mun told her this could happen, so Joy doesn't seem worried. Jaime will remember.]
Yes [She nods] My papa is... I mean, my papa was Gerion.

Uncle Gerion? Wasn't he dead?

[How insensitive, but he forgets that his thoughts were spoken as words and that Joy can hear it.]

[Joy has faced worse, so she doesn't actually mind. Or if she does, she doesn't show it. She simply nods, a bit sad.]
That's why I said he was my papa. If he weren't, I would say he still is my papa.

[Well, if anything, Jaime doesn't like seeing women or little girls sad]

I didn't mean to make you frown. I was not aware that my Uncle had a child.

[Jaime gives her an equally bright smile. He reached for her hair to shuffle it a little when he remembers he's without his sword hand. Oh yeah, he lost it.]

As you can see, your cousin is still the most handsome thing alive.

[And it's what she really thinks. And even though she might have seen he lacks a hand, she doesn't look for long.]
And have you gone through many adventures in the war, cousin?

How does he say this in a way that wasn't so brutal]

Many? Too many to count by my reckoning. Your cousin is a knight in shining armor who saves lovely ladies such as yourself. [He tries his very best not to exaggerate.]

[And there's a small giggle and a big smile. ]
I'm sure those ladies are very grateful because they have been rescued by the best knight. [she nods]

[He wrinkles his nose and smiles genuinely when he hears Joy giggle.]

Oh, they've showed their gratitude really well. [He smiles at that, because he simply means that they showed proper appreciation, and nothing sexual. After all, he reserved his body for his dear twin only.]

One day, the bravest knights, may not be as gallant as I am, will always run to your rescue as well.

[gerionsdaughter]

[She remains blissfully ignorant both of that way of showing gratitude, and of that thing between Jaime and Cersei, so no problem.]
Then that's good because that shows they are proper ladies, as it should be.
