[He sighs as he leans back into the floor, pulling his arms tighter around her again. He knows how that feels, even if he'll never admit to it.]
Well, I know there ain't much I can do about it. I'd plug someone fulla holes if I thought it'd make things right. Still... if there is somethin' I can do, you'll tell me, won't you?
[He might be reminded just how much of lavender and ash she smells. Oddly, for a Pyro she doesn't smell too bad despite what others might think that she marinates in her suit all day.]
[For someone who claims to not have a lot of feelings, he sure goes out of his way to keep her happy. He can't help that guilt gnawing on his gut, though- even if he's doing what he thinks is best for her, he's still keeping the truth from her, which he promised he wouldn't do.]
Pyro, I. Um.
[On the other hand, words aren't his strong point, especially when his heart is thudding away in his chest.]
[He loses his nerve as she looks up at him, not an ounce of worry in her eyes. She seems to have all the trust in the world in him, and he doesn't want to lose that.]
Er.
[Well, there went all his words, too. That leaves him with only that thudding in his chest and the smell of her hair.
He hesitates for only a second before leaning forward to plant a hard kiss to her lips.]
[Pyro is a little confused by his actions but accepts it anyways. As his lips meet hers she closes her eyes and just decides to go along with it all. Be it good or bad, she can handle anything. She's certain of it.
Fingertips lightly brush over his back as the ones on her other hand stroke at his cheek. Kissing him back just as intensely, she pulls away slightly after the kiss has ended with flushed cheeks.]
[He pulls away from the kiss, his face on fire, breath stuck somewhere in his throat. He presses the bridge of his nose to her forehead, trying to retain some of the sensation.]

It still hurts.
[And people like Sniper don't have to worry about their weight.]

[Closing her eyes as she rests against him, Pyro whimpers as she thinks of something embarrassing.]
I'm not crushing you at all?
no subject
[Sniper not complaining? Now that's a feat all on its own. Have a kiss to the top of your head, Pyro.]

You can say some pretty cute and sweet things sometimes.

I'm not a bad bloke when I try.

[Kissing him lightly on the lips, she smiles.]
Mr. Hawk is a very good person, better then he thinks.

[He takes a deep breath, flooding his senses with the smell of her hair. How awful that time was for him is another thing he's not keen to admit.]

[Accidental proposal or not, he's apparently in for the long run now.]

Yes, Mr. Hawk? What is it?

You wanted to tell me something?

Nevermind. I'm thinkin' too hard on things.
