Sorbet spoilers incoming.
[For a man who often chooses his words with as much ease as he does care, Hannibal is awfully silent. That is the face of someone stumped, worrying their jaw by the foreign nature of the whole thing, the mundane's picking and chiding included.]
Have you considered that comparing my behavior to that of a pre-pubescent, sexually compromised vampire might not be the way to my heart? While I can see why you would be inclined to make such a leap, it is a far cry from the key to my conscience, or what may be left of it.
As for that matter with Abigail and Mischa...again, a topic you may want to reconsider. If you must pry at the hinges of my psyche, i would choose my options more wisely.
[Oh yes, changing the subject from Will to Abigail, that's going to get your mundane to stop poking.]
On the contrary, I don't expect you to stop, I expect you to get thoroughly distracted by a different problem. Notably, one that I have had much more time to consider, and one that I happen to know you are emotionally invested in. Bon appétit. And breathe.

She just knows he's not human. This guy is human. Hiding behind long brown hair with two white streaks next to each other she peers at him.]
Then again, it's the province of the undignified to mock their betters so.
[She shrugs]

As for the mocking of their betters, I've found that those with more pretense at dignity choose to raise themselves up on that sort of pedestal. The entirely undignified simply do not care either way.

Still, when she pulls at her hair and stares at him there might be something a little too..intense in her gaze.] So you admit that ultimately nobody really matters?
That's an interesting attitude.
What do you do with an attitude like that?
no subject
I wouldn't say that nobody matters. Quite the opposite actually, I would say that artists matter, true artists at whatever craft they choose to practice. The very best who influence the herd in whatever way they can, who leave their imprint on history, like a fossilized footprint for the ages. They matter, if only just.
[There's a twinkle in his eye then, as he leans in slightly as if telling a secret.] But I would appreciate if you kept my opinion from the prying ears of my patients.

[Overt burst of emotion. Then she withdraws] At least that's what I think.
And I won't. Although that disinterested attitude is pretty poor for a doctor. Do you work with Doctor Godfrey?
no subject
[He's guessing....16 maybe? Give or take.]
I can't say that I've had the pleasure of meeting a Doctor Godfrey, no.
Will, you said? Also I apologize if I'm awful, this is me voicetesting after a long time off DW. ^^'
[Sexually compromised is not really something he wants to consider if he is the subject, so he's just not going to think about that.
too much.]s'all good
[you see then, why he's so against being compared to someone who is sexually compromised.]

[There's also a point where it feels invasive, how intuitively someone can take you apart.
But he's not saying that out loud, it sounds too much like an admission or weakness.]

You're probably right, of course.
[Not so much, no.]
