Most everything - offensive magic has proven quite useful - as has defense for, well ...what they're meant for. The Fae, most of them at least don't seem to be immune. O think the polymorph spells can go somewhat awry though, if I recall. Enough for us to feel as if we're capable of contributing ...from a distance. With someone protecting us.
