Dear Mundane,
While I'm glad you have found something that entertains you, I find this arrangement to be... unsatisfactory. You call me your puppet, but you know who I truly serve. I am not yours to order around, and yet I am compelled to follow your lead. It's jarring. I wish to return home.
Failing that, as I suspect is going to be the case, I have a few requests, and a piece of advice. My requests are these: first, keep my enemies at arm's length. Preferably further. I do not know how long your arms are, but I suspect not long enough to keep a blade from embedding itself in my vessel. Second, if you see any of my allies, allow me to talk with them. Third, on the subject of my other "headmates"... while I am glad to know Gabriel gets to live again at your command, please tell him to turn down his music. It is... grating, at that volume. Also, really? The GhostFacer? ...Really? It's not a problem, it's just...
...I digress. My advice is this: focus on the other, more important things you should be doing right now. Like your application, and that thing you're doing with your friend. I don't want us to get off on the wrong foot here. While I don't approve of being your puppet, you are young and foolish and your wellbeing is important. You should take my advice.
P.S.
I am glad you feel comfortable with my "voice". I know you were apparently worried about that, though I don't know what it means exactly.
P.P.S.
I don't know what P.S. means either.

[ Oh he's trying to figure out when you are from little brother. ]
edits because mun is a moron
[And just like that it's abundantly clear he's from after your little altercation. How far after?]
I suppose it shouldn't be that surprising to see you here, from what I'm learning about this place.
[Hesitantly...] I'm... sorry for exploding you. [Ah. That far, at least.]
edits happen!
[ His brow arches up high, his jaw tenses, but otherwise, he doesn't show a response. ]
I'm sorry it's all come to this.

Or, were. Now we apparently find ourselves at the beck and call of bored humans.
Perhaps I can use this time to repent my regrets. [He hopes so. He doesn't feel like getting the straw kicked out of him right now. :(]
no subject
Do you actually believe that is possible?
[ He doesn't feel like a physical altercation, luckily. That doesn't mean he has to be kind. ]
no subject
I am aware that whether I repent or not I am unlikely to find forgiveness.
no subject
[ He can't forgive Castiel somethings, but knowing Castiel kills him - that's not one of them. ]
no subject
[He has unfortunate experience with this, and is willing to offer proof if you don't believe him.]
But I do hope it works out well for you, regardless.
no subject
Thank you, Samandriel. I wish the same for you, especially after... [Hmm. Wait, didn't he stab you? He goes quiet while he figures that one out.]
no subject
[He doesn't sound terribly upset, rather like he's stating a fact, and is actually rather worried that Castiel doesn't seem to recall what happened.]
It's fine. I--...I understand what happened. [It was exactly as he'd said, after all.] And thank you, Castiel. I appreciate the wish all the same.
no subject
Sorry. [Awkward.]
I don't remember why I did that.
[He looks a little lost. Okay, more than a little. Like someone just handed him a ferret and told him to clean a window with it.]
no subject
It's fine. It...wasn't really you--not your choice, at least...
[He'd been pretty sure of that all along, given the lengths taken to rescue him, but the fact that Castiel can't remember is proof enough to him.]
It, ah-- ...You really don't remember anything?
up to S08E13 and counting. marathon still in progress :')
[He pauses, then looks up and tilts his head at you like he subconsciously wants to ask if he's wrong.]
My mundane is pulling faces at me. I think that means she doesn't know anything about this either. That, or she's eating something lemon-flavoured. This is all strangely confusing.
askjfh I probably should have asked first! noted though. no spoilers here. c:
[Then, he remembers what he did, that it was his choice, but not why? Samandriel might have pressed on and asked more, but the next statement has him holding his tongue.]
Oh, I--I see. In that case...perhaps I'll put a hold on the questions.
...Sorry.
[Did things just get awkward again]
i meant to write it somewhere in the original post but i forgot, my bad!
[He shifts uncomfortably, then changes the subject. Awkward is as awkward does.]
What are you doing with your time here? I've been considering what to do with mine - I seem to have been conjured with no actual intent or planning. [Boo hoo. My heart bleeds for you, Cas.]
shh it's fine~ I'm just glad you caught me before I said too much askjd
Oh, ah, I was in the same place in the beginning; my Mundane had no idea of what to do with me, but now... Well, I've found a few familiar faces-- [You're the first Cas he's bumped into, though. It hasn't been as bad as he'd thought it might be.] ...But now games are being considered, and it has me...uneasy. Contrary to what the name suggests, I've heard that they're not all fun.
tips hat! o/

Could you please turn that down a little? I can't hear-
I said-
no subject
What? I can't hear-- oh, turn it up? Sure!
[Looking smugger than should be legal, he does so. Great big brother or best big brother?]
no subject
[He slams his hands over his ears. He knows when Thursday is. What he doesn't understand is why it's so imperative to have a debate over which car seat to pick. They are all designed to be equally comfortable!]
I THINK THE FREQUENCIES ARE MAKING MY VESSEL START TO COMBUST INTERNALLY. GABRIEL. PLEASE TURN IT DOWN. GABRIEL. GABRIEL. OH, FOR GOODNESS' SAKE-
[With a flurry of wings he appears behind the speakers and yanks the plug with maybe a little more force than was strictly necessary. He's just going to stand there with the cord dangling from one hand now, staring at you dejectedly.]
I said I wanted you to turn it down. You probably couldn't hear me, because of the music.
no subject
You just hate fun, don'tcha? Bet you're real popular at the club.
no subject
[His shoulders are slumping like he just took on a group of leviathans single-handedly. Look what you did, Gabe. That song is a patented torture device.]
I don't believe they play this kind of music in respectable clubs. [Whoops. He wasn't supposed to let on that he's been to one. Oh, well, you won't tell anyone, right?]
no subject
[Frankly, nightclubs aren't really Gabriel's scene. Good for picking out a douchebag (or a whole room full of them), but when it comes to actually relaxing, he generally prefers something either a little classier or a lot sleazier.]
I'm pretty sure the kind of gentlemen's club you're thinking of hasn't been a thing since the Edwardian era.

Dean says there are different kinds. I don't know what he meant - I thought you might. Never mind. This conversation is over.
[The embarrassment isn't so much written all over his face as it is scrawled all over him in big neon letters. By that, you can pretty much assume with 100% certainty that story didn't end on a high note.]
And I only went once.
no subject
The first time was that bad, huh?
[Did Castiel think he couldn't look smugger than he already did? It would've been a reasonable assumption to make, but, as it turns out, an incorrect one.]
