Uh-huh. Don't put so much faith in the writer here, she wouldn't be able to handle me in the context of an actual game.

I would not speak so lowly of your writer. They have tendencies to put us in difficult situations when this happens. Though I believe my own mun has difficulty 'handling' me as well, regardless of the situation.

How are your Hunters faring?

My Hunters? All good as far as I know, since I've been so rudely pulled away from my duties.

[ Hey, she can make a joke about it anyway. Taking the Hunter's vow has made her calmer and more confident and she can hold her head even higher than before. [ If it's just about the same old, same old (well, at least what had become familiar to Thalia since her tree days), then she can take it all in stride. She just won't be happy about it, but then again, she would be Thalia without that rebellious streak.

There's maybe a spark of hope in her expression. ] There's a possibility of seeing people I wouldn't see normally? Like, in our normal flow of time?

He's a pain sometimes, but he's my friend.

Sometimes? [Luke has been at Percy's side for a long while now. Even though they aren't exactly friends he does have some redeemable qualities.]

A heart to heart? [Luke wants to be angry but she has every right to act how she is now. He betrayed her.] If I wanted a heart to heart I would have told you that losing you was the last straw. [Which was true.] I just wanted it be me, you and Annabeth. Like it was before Grover found us.
