Oh, one of my player's friends. He was still in the process of writing my app when his friend came up with the idea. Naturally, he thought she was a genius and bam, next thing you know I'm spending my days frozen in the wilderness with a creepy-ass frog.

Seviper. It's got a pretty wicked rivalry with another 'mon, kinda like the rivalry between you and Travis. Plus, just look at that grin. That is totally you calling him up about another stolen kill.

I'd teach the little bastard how to steal kills from that other 'mon. Ensure to get all the EXP after all the work the other put into it. Seems like it'd work out best for the both of us.

I like the sound of that, actually. Glad to see you found my pick agreeable. There were others, yeah, but that one definitely suits you the best.

And it isn't somethin' obnoxiously adorable. I can't get over it. It at least looks like it could bite someone's face off.

And yeah, letting them do all the fighting isn't really that much fun. Luckily, I actually got into a fight on my own less than a month ago. You shoulda been there.

Took a bit longer than I thought...

But time for a flashback, is it?

Sure, why not. You know Clair from Gold and Silver? The tsundere Gym Leader? She threw this huge party for everyone a few weeks ago. I went, because why the hell not. Anyway, as it turns out some chick I know was selling booze when she wasn't supposed to. I casually snatched a bottle off of her, so she chased me down and we fought over it.

Then I elbowed her in the face and got her into a leglock. It was petty, sure, but I was bored and it amused me.

Well, people shouldn't think we're easy to mess with that much is for sure. That's the only negative about goin' anywhere... the fights that we'll have to get into.

While some of 'em are good for the sake of keeping the blood pumpin', the rest that might pop up is just ... like ye said... filler... and annoyin' at that. Just like rank fights but with no real achievement at the end.

Well, there's something to be said about filler fights. Sure, this fight wasn't challenging or anything, but at least it kept me from getting too rusty. Everything in Johto is about training my team, but sometimes I want to train myself. Seriously, is a fist fight every once in a while too much to ask for?
