Having been a ranger for so long and the fact that a clone of me was left in the colonial Angel Grove and a descendant of mine ended up in the wild west, I'm able to handle multiversal versions of people. I just am a one woman guy, and my particular girl is a special princess, one who I tend to rescue alot as much as she saves me. Though if I start having MPD my mun can always begin fracturing my various powers into new versions of me. By the way... who is your tailor?

Between the Guardians and Wes I'm busy enough. Just wondering why the mighty Tommy Oliver has finally graced us with his presence [can you feel the sarcasm]

[Wow...that's a young one. With all of them running around Adam feels much older now.]

[His eyes take on a short glow of white as he gazes on Adam]

And something tells me from my cursory look around I'm the only version of me floating around. What about Aisha, Billy, or Rocky? [doesn't really want to think about Kat, still insists there was some residual dark magic behind that situation]

Billy and I are at a place called Exsilium. It's not bad but the idea of fighting in a war is pretty rough.

Heh, last time I had a game was in the early days of the internet. But that was a long time ago, and so very far away.

The old nostalgia bug. *laughs* It's no problem, I'm used to seeing younger people on the board.

I just think it sucks that I'm only around when the mun sees comrades..it's like the only time I'm able to get in some headtime is when there are fellow rangers about.

And it seems my mun likes me with the classic power set but has no problem making me look like I was during my Black DinoThunder days or not. Seems people forgot there's 2 Dragon coins out there, thanks to a small continuity hickup with my Colonial clone.

I sadly was sealed away after I lost my Kimberly. It also didn't help with that Kim there were... others involved. Long story, nothin' but a family thing. But someone's idle comment about maybe making a Billy broke the lock on me.

Oh lord, the colonial hickup. You know the mun here still can't wrap her head around that-a New England style setting in a clearly Southern Cali landscape.

It's funny, but that's sort of how I came around. Several years ago, there was a game that someone brought in a Billy for, which prompted them to bring me in.

Don't suppose this 'version' (god, that sounds weird) of you is old enough to drink..because the way you're hinting makes it sound like it should be told over one.

[eyerolls the sarcasm] Some things never change.

And I can always tap into one of my future versions if my age is that much of a concern. You want strange, picture me as going from race car driver in the Powers that Should be Forgot to a teacher of high school science after having been an archeologist.

Hey, the White Stranger was cool-not to mention it still fit.

It's not so much as a concern as it's strange. I mean the mun has me in my early 30s here...how could it look anything but strange for me to talking to a teenager like that.

And to think, the early version of you just seemed to be involved in nothing more than martial arts, just like me in gymnastics. You do have to wonder how how the hell we even managed to pass high school with so many of 'extra curricular activities even outside of ranger duty.

Scary part is I age pretty well. If I tried hard I could easily pass for an 18-19 year old when I was a teacher.

And let's see, Zack with his Hip-Hop-Kido, Jason and I with our constant martial arts competitions, you with the Youth World Games, Billy actually graduated a year early, Trini, Zack, and Jason eventually off to the Teen World Summit... But also don't forget early on I was doing badly in school as half the time I was late for ranger duty was being in detention for being late to class or homework issues.

But if it makes you feel better... [his eyes glow slightly and he runs his hand over his head revealing short spiked hair, a little more of a worn face, but otherwords still the same guy, as his eyes stop on a gray-black glow] I can be around the same age as you. And it just so happens in my own command center I keep a nice bottle of sake...

No kidding.

The mun here has a history...or maybe future..of me joining the police force and then having me work undercover as a teenager.

[The woman before him is the same Kim, but definitely older with visible signs of stress and a sort of seriousness that the younger Kimberly lacked.]

I've never actually had sake. Not sure Zordon would've ever really approved, but like I'd pass up the chance, especially with good company.

I think if Zordon knew that we'd have been doing this since he died, to the point that I had to basically combination mentor and lead a team of Rangers myself, he'd forgive us for a little alcohol to relax.

Only instead of spying in high school, I was supposed to be luring out perps. Not that the image isn't hilarious.

You lead a team of rangers, I'm part of a SWAT team for LAPD-yeah, I'd say that calls for some unwinding.

[She accepts the small cup, taking a small sip.] Damn...this is strong.

[knocks back his cup, sighing at the warmth] Yeah... it was one of the last things Trini sent me before... well, you know. I figured now was a good time to break it out.

[At least where he was from, Trini had been gone for over a decade.]

So, which one of us will weave our tale of storied woe?

[She raised her own cup] Here's to old friendships then. [She downed the sake, trying to not cough.] I see sake's an acquired taste.

You go first, seeing as you kept saying all these implications, with Billy..another version of me..Kat.

[he repoured for himself and raised up his glass] To absent and honored friends. [He polished off the cup again, and repoured, not topping off hers unless she asks.] At least this is the good stuff, doesn't need to be heated.

For the record about Kat, my mun likes the pairing of me with Kat about as much as he does other bad fandom pairings from his other worlds. Something about Crane and Falcon, birds of destiny, sorta stuff.

Well, my major story goes back to the old days of the Internet. My mun plucked me shortly before I'd have lost my powers, and thrust me into a game where there happened to be two other Tommys. Eventually I connected with the Kim there, and that started a very long term story. She and I got married, had some kids who picked up our powers and ninjetti spirits, and went off into space. It also should be said in that world, Kim was Dulcea's daughter. Alot of dark soul vs light soul plots and such, but eventually there was a falling out of the muns, and I got locked up in the Lazarus Chamber, suspended in time/space, till recently.

I'm being test driven in a com called The Station, where one of their players heard of my mun's Power Ranger love, and mentioned that he had me as a muse, and they mentioned maybe making Billy. That's what got me out. But this is a weird place and finding play is difficult so I decided to drop a message to my mun here to find out what was on his mind, and behold, rangers out of the woodwork.

[She lets out a snort over her cup.] My mun believes that that's the only reason for the infamous 'letter'. Me thinking of you as a brother and all that-seriously? We've been through too much shit together, too many 'moments' for me to think of you as just a brother.

[She sighs, having long since resolved herself to what happened.]

[She listened into the story, both intrigued and feeling almost nostalgic, finally laughing when he mentioned that there were rangers out of the wood work.] I'll say. I don't know why this is, but as soon as a power ranger comes out into the commn, it's like a breaking dam-no stopping the replies.

[She holds out her cup] For my own. The mun had me enter a sort of village setting, with the idea that I could become a strong warrior in my own right without having to constantly rely on the other rangers to save me. [That last one earned him a slight smirk-just the corner of her mouth.] In the time, I learned archery without the Power, as well as taking lessons of how to be a 'non-power' ranger from Faramir from the Lord of the Rings universe-learning how to track without being seen, making my own arrows and so forth. I met with Billy and it was as much about old times as possible. At one point, Jason shortly arrived in the Village, just as there was some attack with some demon spiders. [The smile on her face widens from Nostalgia] It was almost like old times again, but just as suddenly, he was pulled out.

I was sent back home after a short while, enough to win the Pan Globals and then decided to trade it for a career on the police force. After the fiasco with the letter, I just felt I needed something different, and watching the rest of the Rangers doing what they do best-I still wanted in on that, even if I no longer had a power coin. The police force gave me that chance.

When I was sent back to the village though..I think it was just hard to cope-going from such a high stress job to suddenly almost a sort of forced vacation-it was hard to cope. [She shrugged.] And I've been stuck in headspace ever since.

[he refills her drink and sighs at the mention of that letter] I won't lie, that letter broke my heart, but not as much as seeing you with Jason. That nearly killed me, though only Billy and Adam really understood why.

[snickers at the rescue comment] You've saved me almost as many times as I saved you, princess. I'd have never survived all the times Zordon infused me with his energy if it wasn't for you, nor would I have been willing to let them experiment in creating the White Ranger powers. I always knew you were strong.

[He listened to her story, sipping the sake as he tried to visualize it.] Sounds like you're living a full life. I admit I've sort of seen my life through a window mostly. But it would be nice to have some of those old times, all of us together again.

[She downed the drink, the second one going down easier, but she nearly chokes when he mentions her with Jason.] Seriously? Jason?....You know at the time he was seeing Heather, right? Besides, if anything HE is the one that is mostly like a brother-I mean we knew eachother from elemtary school. I once kicked him in the shins because he kept calling me shrimp.

[She shook her head after she managed to recover.] See, there's a difference between me rescuing and me having to be rescued. Whenever you were in trouble, it was because the enemy saw you as a threat, or they wanted to break you into joining them. Whenever I was captured, it was simply to get me out of the way, or they saw me as an easy target.

[The smile remained though, and Kimberly felt both younger and older at the sametime as they reminisced.] Because obviously becoming an archeologist, then juggling teaching assignments and leading a team of rangers is just a boring life choice. [Sarcasm, what's that?] I do remember finding myself in this..actually very creepy...version of Angel Grove, running into Trini and some of the others. After we exchanged stories, she felt I was strong enough to take charge of a ranger team as well, given my experience on the SWAT team.

[The thought was flattering, but she wasn't entirely sure how her own methods would go about against monsters-nowadays her preferred way of fighting was the use of sneak attacks as well as direct combat.]

[blinks at the mention of the blonde Jason had been dating] I thought they broke up shortly after he gave Trey back the Gold Zeo powers. That's why I assumed you and he... [He rubbed his face some at her childhood connection to Jason.] Wow... now I feel stupid.

[He sobered though as she put the comparison of rescuing over being rescued.] No, Kim, they kidnapped you because they knew you're my only real weakness. But at the same time you're also the person I'd sacrifice everything to save. Remember when I risked it all to save your and everyone else's parents. That's what I'd do.

[He did have the good grace to blush at the mention of his leading and teaching.] It makes me appreciate Mrs. Applegate and how much she tolerated out of us when we were rangering, I'll admit it.

[At the mention of Trini, he sighed some and sipped his sake.] Actually you'd do well with a team of your own. I hear tell of an intergalactic ranger space police department, you could maybe take on a team and train them up.

How in the hell can you lose a watch if it's fused to your wrist?

*Cain quirks an eyebrow, confused by such a prospect.* Or do you mean that you lost it before and now that you found it, it's stuck on you?

I gotta say, though, if it's been a decade since you came out, wouldn't a review be in order before taking any big leaps?

As in I used to lose it alot, but it's not going anywhere now.

I may not have been let out of the box, but my mun is a glutton for all things involving me. He datadumps anything that involves me just because I'm involved. From the end of my tenure with the Series that Shall Not Be Named, to my leading the Red Rangers to take down Serpentera, to the forming of the DinoThunder Rangers... [leans in and stage whispers] And my mun knows I do best by being myself and falling into whatever insanity that comes up. It's a Ranger thing.

*Cain just looks more and more confused the longer he goes on, then makes a point of stepping back a bit when Tommy leans in. Violation of personal space! Out!*

Jeez, if you don't want to answer that other question of mine, just say so in plain English. Also: why are you whispering? Aside from our muns, I'm the only one you're talking to right this second. And what you just said sounds like common knowledge, rather than something to be kept a secret.
