Ohhh, all right, all right. All riiiight.
I said I would, and here I am. It's a nice enough day, I suppose. Don't really have anything else better to do.
Could be interesting. Meet some people. Get out, get about. Maybe start something. A riot would be nice. Good, clear day for it, and there's soooo little happening right now.
Mmm, a word, though, dear. Nothing too terribly serious, don't you pull that face on me. Don't you think that name's just the littlest bit obtuse? Hmm? Just the littlest tiny bit?
[nope.]
No?
[it's just. obtuse. enough.
he shrugs, rolls his eyes and pulls his phone out from his trouser pocket.]
Whatever. [singsong:] I don't ca~are. Don't come crying to me when no-one gets it, and never say I didn't warn you.

[ All he does is scowl, his eyes narrowing dangerously ]
No. The one that framed Holmes. If you dare to tell me it was Holmes, you might get another soccer ball to the face.
no subject
Oh, sure, sure. If you insist.
[he rolls his eyes, grinning.]
No, there wasn't any surgery, don't be pedantic. Why would I ruin what I have, hmmm? I've such a pretty face already, not that you're helping.
no subject
[ At the comment about his face the smaller just scoffs. ]
You deserved it.

I doubt you're in any position to make such a heavy judgement call, little one. You don't even have all your facts.
[his nose is finally starting to clean up; he's lucky enough that he doesn't have a broken nose, though it does hurt like hell. he leans up again, sighing.]
You can take all the words you'd like, I don't mind. It's incredibly clear how absolutely in the dark you are, poor thing. Whereever did you get your information? Those nasty tabloids? Terrible reading for a youngster.
no subject
Trust me. I know more than you think I do.

[sudden gasp, and a look of (fake) shock on Jim's face. it's time to start playing the cards in his hand. either this kid read the papers - and didn't read them all, or didn't do any investigation beyond that - or he heard the story himself. Jim heard Sherlock hadn't exactly made the fall, a whisper through the grapevine. maybe this obnoxious little child knows him somehow.
hell, he took John in. why not another silly stray?]
Oh-- unless, of course, whereever you're getting this information from is flawed and you didn't look any further... tsk tsk tsk. Stupid, silly mistake. Not really one befitting a detective such as yourself, you know, not if you aspire to the great Sherlock Holmes.
[his face turns vicious.] Unless, maybe, he didn't give you all the facts. Unless he didn't tell you the truth. Did the Great Detective lie to his new friend?
[shruuug. smirk.] None of my business. How rude. How terribly rude of me, to impose on the personal life of someone I've only just met. [get the point, kid?] What makes you think a knock to the face is going to open my lips? You're not the first one. You should ask your Great Detective what his dear darling brother got up to, hmm?
no subject
I don't have too. Mycroft was likely just a pawn. Don't think for one second you can blind me to the truth. My observation skills may not be as great as Holmes' but they don't need to be for me to see the truth in this case.
I'd happily tell you where I get my information but I know how mad it makes a perfectionist to know there's just one tiny bit of information they don't possess.
no subject
If you actually think Mycroft Holmes is capable of being a pawn for anyone, dearie, you're already blind.
[oh he knows what you're up to. hellll no he's not going to get punted in the face again. he turns, waves a hand over his shoulder and starts to walk away.]
Sorry, but you've gone boring. You're blind and stubborn and prefer to see the truth you've made up in your own head, and God if that isn't overdone, I don't know what is.
Toodleoo, dear. Do come back when you've learned how to be a proper detective.

[ He inflates the last ball from his belt, and like the first, lets it hit the floor once before aiming briefly for the center of the retreating back and kicks. ]
You think I'd just let you walk away after that?

s i i i i g h ]
You aren't asking the right questions, and it's incredibly clear you haven't [singsong] the slight~est idea what you're ta~lking abooo~ut.
[a shrug.] The thing is, sweetie, you don't know a damn thing about Sherlock or his brother or, really, the whole damn ordeal, and I don't really feel like telling you all the dirty details because I know you won't believe me. You're oh-so-devoted to your precious Sherlock Holmes, regardless of the facts.
Besides. You don't want to give me my due, and I so do love taking credit for the things I've done.
[another prolonged sigh.] You've given me not a single reason to give you any more of my time, and unless you've got a reason, I do believe our business is done here.
no subject
No, Mr. Napoleon of the crime world-You're the one that doesn't know anything. For one, I've been living with Holmes the past few months, and two you'll never be able to convince me Holmes is a bad person because I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that he isn't.
The fact that you don't recognize the name Conan means that I hold a trump card you couldn't possibly talk your way out of. Oh but, I've already told you that I won't tell you what that is. So don't bother asking, Moriarty-san.
no subject
[eyeroll.]
Lying and being a bad person aren't mutually exclusive, you stupid, silly child. There's not a detective in the world that can survive painting the world in black and white.
no subject
You're the one trying to convince me Holmes is lying about what happened-funnily enough though, I never asked-I didn't need to ask. I used my own deductions to come to the conclusions I have so calling him a liar is kind of pointless on your part. And don't bother trying to convince me I'm wrong.
no subject
You're just going in circles, round and round.
Your deductions are wrong, your story is wrong, and you're never going t'get it unless you find the facts.
It's his brother.
No plastic surgery.
Look, kid, run along home to daddy and feel free to tell him oh-so-proudly how you beat scary Monster Moriarty, hmm? I've had enough of this.
Hate going in circles. So entirely, utterly pointless.
no subject
You had to have had his face visible because anything else he could easily prove to be a set up-but if his face were to be recognized that's something even he would have had difficulty talking his way out of.
And for the record, I never said anything about you under going plastic surgery-it wouldn't be difficult at all for you to have someone else go under the knife-I'm sure you had more than enough time as it only takes about half a year for a person to fully recover from that kind of thing. After the crime was committed it's most likely the person made to alter their face was killed-incinerated probably. That way, while it could be proven the victim had, had plastic surgery it would be impossible to determine what the face had looked like.
no subject
Listen to me. [he leans in close.] There was no plastic surgery.
[christ, kid, you're killin him here.]
no subject
[ but it had to be something similar-if not surgery than a mask...? Either way, he doesn't really trust anything Moriarty says anyway. ]
no subject
You're not listening to me.
no subject
I'm thinking. Be quiet.
no subject
[oh he is SO unamused right now.]
No rush.
no subject
[ after along moment of silence and letting his thoughts wander here and there he looks up again. ]
Ah-! You're still here?
[ At this point, he's probably just doing it to be irritating. He's rather gifted at that. ]
no subject
nope he's out of here
screw this and screw you, Conan, and while he's at it screw your stupid detective too godDAMN
he turns and starts to walk away again because if he stays, he's decking a seven year old]
no subject
Oh, you're leaving?
Don't you wanna know what my trump card is?
[ Jim can try walking off , but the seven year old just trotts after him. ]
no subject
Somehow I highly doubt you have any trump card worth knowing, dear.
