[ The first thing she comes across is someone that looks like they're...talking to themeselves? Daring looks all around to see if there were somepony else around. There wasn't, so she started to sloooowly back away and then they actually did say something, so she paused. ]
Herpy, huh? [ She taps a hoof against her face. ] Hmmm, I don't recall anypony by that name.
I didn't say--... [ She makes a face at first, but then goes on. ] Anyway, what's this Herpy look like? I'll keep an eye out for them while I'm checking around.
Ouch! Hey! [ She takes off her hat and gives the weird creature on it a funny look. A new creature she'd never seen before...definitely meant this was far away from home. ] Falling on people is definitely not the best way to say hello.
So you're named Ju, and the village is called Miju Ma? That's pretty confusing. [ She makes a face and tilts her hat upwards on its head. ] Unless 'miju' is all you can say?

[his tummy gives a disgruntled grumble. He waddles on over to the tree again, trying to get the apples up in the branches. That hat isn't making it easy for him to even find the tree, but it looks like he likes it.]
I'm gonna take that as a yes. [ She blinks at the grumbling sound and watches as he wanders to the tree. ]
Apple tree, huh? At least that's one thing in this place that's just like home. I guess I could use some provisions too. Hmm. [The apples were sure high up, too bad she couldn't fly at the moment or it would be no problem to grab them. Oh well, time to improvise like the regular ground-dwellers. Daring turned tail and gave that tree a good buck. Down come some apples! ]
[wah! That startles him so much that he hits the ground, cowering under the stolen hat. And when it looks like he isn't about to die, he peeks out and. Whoa! Apples! Huzzah!
He gets up, takes one, and starts munching on it.]
Miiju! Mi juma! [it's kinda muffled, but congrats, Daring Do! You've caught a pokemon made a new friend!]
[ Now that she got an apple or two, she supposed it was time to move on and get some exploring in. She takes the temporary borrowed hat in her teeth and flips it over back on to her head. ] Now that I've got some food, It's time to head out. Enjoy your lunch, Ju. [ Daring starts to trot off, unaware that she had captured a Pokemon! ]
Woah. [ Okay, so her face looks pretty amazed and surprised. Didn't think the little guy would have that kind of ability. ] I guess I could always use a guide... All right, you can be my sidekick for just this one adventure.
[ Hm, this one looked a bit more menacing. She didn't show any hint of apprehension, though. ] I've encountered ancient civilizations, traps, pitfalls, treasure -- a whole bunch of things.
[Letting out a huff of cold air, he glanced at Daring.] Never seen him before, actually. So, do they actually have treasure where you're going? I got gypped.
