[And Donkey leans forward to squint.]

...hey now, since when do knights let ladies join? You get on the wrong end of some potion or somethin'? You sure seem to be rockin' the armor!

I earned the honor of being a knight. [She looks down at her feet.] The king was gracious and granted me the title...

[Look up, lady knight. That's the face of a totally awed talking donkey. A little one, a bit small for his kind.]

So what'd you do? You rescue some princess from a fire-breathing dragon with sparkling, dazzling teeth and beautiful green eyes? [For a donkey, he sure trots around rather fast. He also may have a thing for dragons, shhhshhhh.] You rescue the king from, oh! A burning building? No, no...a flood! A raging river! You must've done something really really special, right?

No, I did none of those things. I won a melee, that's all.

[Brienne looks up and is feeling slightly embarrassed by this awe-struck Donkey.]

A melee? You won a melee?

[Don't be embarrassed, get angry. It's what most people do whenever they spend half a minute around the tiny talking trotting donkey.]

You forget who forsook whom, woman. I would have never had any quarrel with Renly, had he been a dutiful younger brother.

[She stares at Jaime; her face devoid of emotion.] What a trial it must have been for you. No wonder you're a knight.

I'm certain the strength I possess is intimidating.
