Dear girl, you honor me. I have seen many strange and interesting things in my life, but this was something I could not have envisioned in my most disturbing of dreams or wonderful nightmares. To be a puppet in such a place is, granted, very unsettling but rather charming at the same time.

Do you think we will be able to find my family? They will be absolutely lost without me, particularly Gomez. There are many things going on right now, after all, I simply cannot be away for too terribly long.

[Oh, Morticia has missed such things as family bonding time.]

How about...the chair?

[Oh, the was she says that word... Hummm he occasionally needs reminding of what an exceptional decision Gomez made when he chose her as his wife. And how lucky he is to live with them.]

[She simply goes to sit down, fully trusting Thing to make all the attachments proper and correct, as he always does.]

[Which he does. After all, Gomez learned from the best, if Thing says so himself. Once he has her secured, he points to the hand rack, which was created just for him.

He then walks over to the control dial and starts with a mild setting - we wouldn't want it over too soon. Then he throws the switch.]

[Just as soon as the strap is taken off her head, her hands come up to gently fix her hair before a thumb wipes off the corner of her mouth. A moment later and she's standing again, wiping the front of her dress.]

[Oh, she was so lovely. And he nods. Then he gestures to her, he will let her choose, for granting him such a beautiful show.]

[She snaps the pliers shut to see how much strength it takes, turning them over to admire them. Kept clean, of course, not in the least bit rusty.

Oh! And look at him, ever the ready one.]

If it gets to be too much, dear, let me know.

[And with that, the pliers crack down on the meat between thumb and forefinger with an enthusiasm that makes it evident she knows just how far she can go.]

[Oh, it won't be too much. After all, it's not often that it's Morticia this time, usually it's Grandmama.

And the pain is... exquisite. He hopes it will last.]

Just as long as no one tries to subdue them...

[It's only when she thinks he might just pop that she moves the pliers, prying open the bit between forefinger and middle to, this time, press down on the meat there, hopefully bruising the first joints in that area as well.]

[The release is as wonderful as the pain that is inflicted when she reapplies it. And her compliment... Oh that makes it just that much better.]

[It is not so much a compliment as just stating basic facts, but she smiles as she turns the pliers at a short angle to bring down the pressure now firmly all on the knuckle of his middle finger. If he doesn't want it to crack, he should say so.]

[And the request to stop, he does make. Not that he wouldn't enjoy it. But with Gomez and the others missing, it is best that he maintain full dexterity.]

[Something she completely understands, so she lets up the pressure before gently placing the pliers to the side, a finger going to prod a blossoming purple bruise on the meat of the fingers in between.]

Feeling better?

[He was quivering ever so slightly. Partly from the pain and partly from the pure enjoyment he had experienced. He looks up at her, and it's obvious he's grateful.]

Oh, Thing.

[She leans down to kiss the back of Thing before offering her shoulder to ride upon.]

Come Thing, we shall search for the rest of the family.

[Oh, she was indeed the proper mother to this family. He regains his strength and quickly scurries up to her shoulder.]
