Dear girl, you honor me. I have seen many strange and interesting things in my life, but this was something I could not have envisioned in my most disturbing of dreams or wonderful nightmares. To be a puppet in such a place is, granted, very unsettling but rather charming at the same time.

Do you think we will be able to find my family? They will be absolutely lost without me, particularly Gomez. There are many things going on right now, after all, I simply cannot be away for too terribly long.

[And with that, the pliers crack down on the meat between thumb and forefinger with an enthusiasm that makes it evident she knows just how far she can go.]

[Oh, it won't be too much. After all, it's not often that it's Morticia this time, usually it's Grandmama.

And the pain is... exquisite. He hopes it will last.]

[It is not so much a compliment as just stating basic facts, but she smiles as she turns the pliers at a short angle to bring down the pressure now firmly all on the knuckle of his middle finger. If he doesn't want it to crack, he should say so.]

[And the request to stop, he does make. Not that he wouldn't enjoy it. But with Gomez and the others missing, it is best that he maintain full dexterity.]

[She leans down to kiss the back of Thing before offering her shoulder to ride upon.]

[Oh, she was indeed the proper mother to this family. He regains his strength and quickly scurries up to her shoulder.]
