Tessa Voices Her Opinion on Certain Matters

Miss Mundane, your behavior has been completely inexcusable. You have given us hope, allowing us to dream of a life that would not have been accepted in our own world and now you hold us back with your own doubts. We could have the fairy tale that Will wishes, that we all wish for, yet you deny us that possibility.

If not there, then perhaps we can find another place where Jem will be free of his affliction and Will's curse can be nothing more than a bad memory we no longer revisit. There has to be a way, we just need to find it.  It is possible.  I refuse to believe otherwise.

I can say with confidence that your mundane is worrying too much. As are you. If nothing else, we can always be together here, right?

[Letting out a soft sigh, she knows that Jem words are true, but she cannot help feeling caged somehow by the entire situation. The three of them have a chance in this place at least, but that doesn't mean her mundane's actions sit easily for her.]

You're right. Here we can be together without the fears that we've faced in the past, but her indecisiveness concerns me. She has been dwelling on unpleasant subjects involving the three of us.

As has mine, but we've reached an accord, and he's sworn to be more optimistic from hereon out. [ He reaches out hesitantly, afraid to be too forward even though Tessa was once his bride-to-be, and brushes a lock of her hair behind her ear. ] Why don't you tell me what it is that's eating at her?

She is optimistic of how our story will resolve itself. It is the details of how it unfolds that troubles me.

[Smiling at that gentle touch, she felt a similar hesitancy as he lightly touched her hair. This might not be quite her Jem, but he could be hers if they each were allowed another chance. For a moment, she wonders if his Tessa would be hurt that another version of herself cared for her fiancee, and then realizes that it would be Jem's happiness that would truly matter not the strange details of time and realities that makes his joy possible.]

She is curious about how we will find the fairy tale Will wishes for, that the three of us wish for, if each of us is from different chapter in our stories. Will would still believe himself cursed. You would be grieving and I... I am not certain when I would be from but I have the feeling it would be from a point that would make this difficult for us all.
