Proud? Of what? That little fight I had with that creature, and having dealt with that boy?

I had to, or else I would have had to deal with his 'family' plus Megamind, back in the city. I would have had to break the news to them that a monster had carried the boy away. And that little story would have only bled out to everyone else if I had not saved him.
I only saved him to cover my trail.
