This is pointless, mundane.
[His eyes are a dull, unimpressed black, as reflective as mirrors themselves.] How much of my world's history and culture do you plan on writing out and posting? If you're so concerned about world-building perhaps you should take my advice and not apply me anywhere. I have no desire to be shoved somewhere crawling with vicious verminous humans, and you have no confidence in what you have written so far as a concept. [His eyes turn a warm brown as he speaks, straining to sound polite or remotely respectful.]
Is throwing me at so many monsters here not enough for you? It's trying enough to endure daily encounters with humans without also suffering through you butchering summaries of my world, religion and life on top of that. I don't even want to contemplate the headaches called 'games' you're looking at. Is there not one solely for non-humans? That doesn't seem like much to ask. [His eyes just finally go red after a pause and a sigh. There's only so much Alisdair can take.]
And on that note - if you expect 'smut' from me, you may as well wish for every river to turn to stone. Touching another person is hard enough. Touching a human makes me want to vomit. I would rather die and join the Gods in the afterlife where even you cannot find me.

[Okay, 'Senn feels bad for saying that, but it's true.]

There are some good people out there. What happened to make you hate humans?

...I'm sorry.
[This is actually making her feel slightly better about some of her current decisions, thanks.]
There was a war while I was growing up, I lost my father to it. So...
[Can she say she understands how he feels? Not really.]

[Here she thought her's had been bad. 'Senn frowns, forcing the horror out of her voice and replacing it with annoyance. She can deal.]
Some idiots thought it'd be a smart move dropping space colonies onto the Earth and then taking over using giant robots. It didn't happen that way, thankfully, but there was still a war.

[He frowns, eyes turning mirror-like and black.] So you're human, then. But why would humans fight each other? I thought you only hated other species.

['Senn crosses her arms over her chest, watching his eyes change. That's kind of neat. Good thing she can't do it, she has a hard enough time hiding her emotions from her cousin.]
Sometimes we fight for the dumbest reasons. Religion, land, mistakes made in the past. And then some people start wars just because they can.
[Yeah, that's probably not helping his impression any.]
But we can learn from our mistakes, too.

[His eyes go red, albeit a dark one, as he steps closer. At 6"9, he's short for his species, but is capable of being quite imposing to humans. Especially when they insinuate they're somehow morally redeemable, because he doesn't believe that. Not even a little bit.]
Oh? Because everything you've told me makes it sound as if, if anything, your people are more violent and vile than I had already been warned of. I see no learning from your masses. No appreciation that life is sacred.
Tell me of how you've learned from your mistakes. Please. Enlighten me.

My sister learned eventually. I did. I could've taken the lessons my sister taught me, and the ones from Naos, and gone on to do awful things, but I realized I was being stupid. Life is sacred, and people do learn, even if it takes a while, even if horrible things happen in the meantime. They just need a chance.
