Maker's breath, you mean to tell me Maric goes back to the Deep Roads? Willingly? After the hell if was for us to get out of it with our lives? What for? Don't tell me he's following another attractive elf he's trying to get into the pants of-

Please tell me that was a joke.

I am not discussing your relationship drama with some dead king.

You asked.

I didn't expect you to share so much with someone who said they plan to kill you.

[Bitch he's got speed in spades, he was totally classed as Rogue before he grew up and changed to Warrior. Also, he made a habit of keeping up with elves in particular, thank you very much.]

I'll give him a chance, that's it.

You've made it quite clear Alistair would show me no mercy. Telling me you'll put me up against someone who is sure to kill me if he wins, then threaten to kill me if I win instead - I'm not exactly certain what I'd have to lose. Either I die or I die and make you suffer as well.
And someone backed into a corner is not willing to play nice.

[because he doesn't really see Loghain as the type to play nice in any situation. Then again, all he bases it on is a minute of conversation with the man at Ostagar, and the actions he'd seen there.]
You asked, I answered. That's all.

[Loghain never plays nice. He plays fair and he plays unfair, but neither settings are 'nice'. The game of Loghain has no casual mode.]
