I am honored that you wish to find me a home once the series has ended, mundane.  But are you certain you will be able to keep me around?  I have come to understand that you often have grand ideas for new muses such as myself but they quickly fizzle out. 

I do not mind if that is the case with myself as well but I would like it if you thought this through first.  I would not like to leave behind any new friends I may make while placed in one of these games.

If you do find me a game it would be nice if it was a game that included Green Lantern Hal Jordan, Green Lantern Kilowog, or Red Lantern Razer.  But if you can not I will not be too terribly upset.

[Aya doesn't need to see the ring to know a Lantern. She can detect their energy signature after all.]

Well, I've been exploring this - er, [limbo? place? How did one describe it?] dimension for a while and I can count the number of other Lanterns I've met on one hand. With four fingers left over.

I believe I understand now. [She glances down for a moment, expression neutral.]

Does that number only include Green Lanterns?

[imaginate]

Yeah. If you start counting other Corps, that's only two more. One Orange, one Red.

[2point1seconds]

[Her brow furrows slightly at the mention of Orange. The mention of Red gets a somewhat surprised look but she's more curious about the Orange.]

Orange? I am unfamiliar with such a Corps. I have not come across such in my databanks.

[imaginate]

[Ohkay, so she is a robot. Kyle hopes she's more like Lantern Stel, and not a Manhunter.] Orange rings are fuelled by avarice. There's only one Orange Lantern, as far as I know. They call him Larfleeze.

[She's much more than a robot.]

I see. That would make sense.

What of the Red? Did you get a name?

Bleez. [His eyes narrow slightly.] Your ring should have access to this information. [Which means he glances to her hand and-] Where is it?

[Disappointment flickers across her face at the name. The inquiry about her ring snaps her out of her disappointment though.]

I am not officially of the Green Lantern Corps. I am an artificial intelligence created by the Guardians. I was installed in the ship the Interceptor. Green Lantern Hal Jordan and Green Lantern Kilowog took the ship and gave me the designation Aya.

I wanted to be come a Lantern but Green Lantern Kilowog said I could not because I lacked a body so I made one for myself. I have yet to receive a ring, however.

[That's a weird reaction to a Red Lantern. Kyle makes note of it.] I wasn't aware the Interceptor was already flight worthy. [The craft is still experimental for his world, testing stages.] Anyway, you don't need a ring or a body, just the ability to overcome great fear and a commitment to our ideals.

The Guardians as a whole did not consider it as such, however that did not stop the pair of them. Although it is my understanding that Guardian Ganthet planted the idea in their heads.

[There's a faint smile on her lips as she nods.] I have come to understand that.

[imaginate]

[He chuckles softly, because that sounds exactly like something Hal would do.

Then he holds out his hand in case she wants to shake it.] Welcome to the Corps, Aya. I'm Kyle Rayner, Honour Guard.

These "games" are misnamed, Aya. They can be quite dangerous.

[She can take care of herself but space boyfriend worries okay.]

More dangerous than what we normally do?

[He should worry. Her mun plans to make her organic in the game she's gong to.]

It depends on the so-called game and how merciful your puppeteer is.

[Oh okay then he will worry.]

I would like to believe my mundane to be merciful but I do not think they are. I think they plan to send me to a ship filled with monsters. But I am sure it will be fine. I am strong after all.

[Aya might be a little worried herself.]

A ship full of monsters? To what end? Never mind, their rationale rarely makes sense.

[Softens.]

You are. Still-- [Pause] be careful.

Monsters that eat flesh. Normally this would not be a problem for me as I am not flesh but... [Just going to leave that hanging.]

It would appear some "events" upon this ship cause even the prisoners there to be monsters themselves.

[She puts on a reassuring smile, at least she hopes it comes off as such.] Do not worry about me Razer. My mundane does not seem to have anything horrifically terrible planned from the start.

Aside from them giving you flesh so that you will be at the mercy of these monsters? And potentially turning you into a monster?

I will still retain my abilities so defending myself will not be an issue.

They are not monsters in the physical sense. Also, my mundane does not plan to allow something like that to happen to me.

Are you... comfortable with the concept of being organic?

I...think it will be an interesting change. I can not say if I am comfortable with the idea or not but it would be something new to experience.

Organic bodies are susceptible to injury and illness. Be cautious in the beginning, until you are used to it.

Have they decided what species you will be?

[He hopes it's not human. They're so squishy and don't have awesome food storage.]

I intend to be as cautious as possible. [Which given Aya's exuberance over new things...it probably won't be that cautious.]

I believe they intend to simply make me an organic version of myself, no real species in mind. Although an organic version of myself would mean your kind, given that was the template I used, would it not?

[Food storage would come in super handy in a place where food is often hard to come by.]
