I am honored that you wish to find me a home once the series has ended, mundane. But are you certain you will be able to keep me around? I have come to understand that you often have grand ideas for new muses such as myself but they quickly fizzle out.

I do not mind if that is the case with myself as well but I would like it if you thought this through first. I would not like to leave behind any new friends I may make while placed in one of these games.

If you do find me a game it would be nice if it was a game that included Green Lantern Hal Jordan, Green Lantern Kilowog, or Red Lantern Razer. But if you can not I will not be too terribly upset.

['Sup Aya Kyle here is curious. You're not a Lantern he recognises, but any friend of Hal's is a friend of his. He waves so she can see his ring.] Hi.

[Aya doesn't need to see the ring to know a Lantern. She can detect their energy signature after all.]

Well, I've been exploring this - er, [limbo? place? How did one describe it?] dimension for a while and I can count the number of other Lanterns I've met on one hand. With four fingers left over.

I believe I understand now. [She glances down for a moment, expression neutral.]

Does that number only include Green Lanterns?

Yeah. If you start counting other Corps, that's only two more. One Orange, one Red.

[Her brow furrows slightly at the mention of Orange. The mention of Red gets a somewhat surprised look but she's more curious about the Orange.]

Orange? I am unfamiliar with such a Corps. I have not come across such in my databanks.

[Ohkay, so she is a robot. Kyle hopes she's more like Lantern Stel, and not a Manhunter.] Orange rings are fuelled by avarice. There's only one Orange Lantern, as far as I know. They call him Larfleeze.

[She's much more than a robot.]

I see. That would make sense.

What of the Red? Did you get a name?

Bleez. [His eyes narrow slightly.] Your ring should have access to this information. [Which means he glances to her hand and-] Where is it?

[Disappointment flickers across her face at the name. The inquiry about her ring snaps her out of her disappointment though.]

I am not officially of the Green Lantern Corps. I am an artificial intelligence created by the Guardians. I was installed in the ship the Interceptor. Green Lantern Hal Jordan and Green Lantern Kilowog took the ship and gave me the designation Aya.

I wanted to be come a Lantern but Green Lantern Kilowog said I could not because I lacked a body so I made one for myself. I have yet to receive a ring, however.

[That's a weird reaction to a Red Lantern. Kyle makes note of it.] I wasn't aware the Interceptor was already flight worthy. [The craft is still experimental for his world, testing stages.] Anyway, you don't need a ring or a body, just the ability to overcome great fear and a commitment to our ideals.

The Guardians as a whole did not consider it as such, however that did not stop the pair of them. Although it is my understanding that Guardian Ganthet planted the idea in their heads.

[There's a faint smile on her lips as she nods.] I have come to understand that.

[He chuckles softly, because that sounds exactly like something Hal would do.

Then he holds out his hand in case she wants to shake it.] Welcome to the Corps, Aya. I'm Kyle Rayner, Honour Guard.

[That smile grows at his welcome. It was more than she received on Oa. She gives his hand an enthusiastic and slightly crushing shake after a moment of staring at it.] Thank you!

[He winces slightly but smiles at her enthusiasm. Oh boy, he doesn't want to see Kilowog crush her in boot camp.] Don't let the blue bosses get to you. They can be pretty slow on the uptake sometimes.

[She releases his hand, her smile fading.]

They do not like me. They wanted to disassemble me. They fear me because of what happened with the Manhunters. But I am not like them, emotions are not evil.

[He tilts his head slightly to the side and his expression falls as hers does.] Is Lantern Stel not in the Corps? He's exactly like you. Almost exactly.

I am not familiar with a Lantern by that designation.

Weird. [Shrug.] He has a mechanical body and mind, but he's sentient.

I would not think it so weird. Analyzing our conversation suggest separate continuities or a different point in the timeline. Perhaps even a splintering timeline. Taking that into account it is possible he simply does not exist where I am from or has not yet joined the Green Lantern Corps.

That's possible. My sector designation is 2814.4. Is that in your database?

That is Green Lantern Hal Jordan's previous sector and currently Green Lantern Guy Gardener's designated sector.

Hal Jordan is now Honor Guard as you claim to be. [Her brow furrows and her gaze locks on nothing particular as she processes this information.]

I do not find you in my database. This further supports my hypothesis.

[She turns her gaze back him, curious.] Query: is this the doing of this nexus?

So, only two Earth Lanterns. [He says it more to himself, to note which universe she comes from.] I'm familiar with both. In my timeline, Guy's Honour Guard with me, and Hal's been assigned to his original sector.

[He considers her question.] Yes, I think so. I don't have any proof, though.

I see. [To both bits of information.]

Are you familiar with a Red Lantern named Razer? You said you had no met one here but perhaps back home?

Hm. [His brow furrows.] Which space sector is he from?
