Oh, yes! Playing games does sound like fun! I am afraid I am not very good, but I have played many of these games with Beast Boy and Cyborg. What sort of video game shall we be playing? A racing game? Or perhaps one with tiny figures upon the screen that we shall have fight to the death?

....I am sorry, but I have never heard of an "Exsilium," or a "Gargle-blast." What sort of games might those be?

Sort of... see, I'm from a parallel version of your world. For me, the Titans weren't formed until we were in our twenties, meaning I helped found the team as Nightwing. Of course though, the bond we share - [And with her in particular.] - kind of trumps dimensions.

But yeah... my world kinda... reset. My mun didn't like the new direction, so I'm just kind of here as an interdimensional consultant of sorts.

[He peels off the mask.] It's been far too long, Kory.

But then we could not be called the "Teen Titans." [ ...Yes, that was her first thought. ]

[ Her second- ] It is good to see you, Robin. [ It was... odd, to have him use her real name. Or a nickname from her real name. Different, but... not bad. ] Has it been long since you have seen me? [ Or... other her. ]

It's been years. It was when Trigon tried to come into our world... you were possessed, and had to go back to Tamaran to recover...

[He leaves out the part that said demon was the result of Raven's power going haywire because he doesn't blame Raven... and he neglects to mention it all happened on their wedding day... because... well that would just make things weird and he's just enjoying seeing her again and being remembered.]

Trigon.

[ Even in other times and worlds, he is causing problems.

She wonders if it is the exact same Trigon, or if he also has alternate parallel versions. Not that it truly mattered. ]

He causes trouble no matter where he is.

[ Still, for it to take years to recover from... ]

[Well, Dick isn't really sure just how long it took to recover, since he never saw her again, but that's not the point.]

Yeah. But, the important thing is that we beat the crud out of him, saved the day, and all that good stuff.

The important thing is you're here now, and there's no psycho trying to take over the world at the moment, meaning we can relax and enjoy ourselves.

Yes, that is very good! Both that Trigon had the "crud" kicked out of him, and also that we are able to relax here.

At least until we are both kidnapped again and sent to play in these games. Or until I am.

That's the beauty of this place. Even if you are put in one of those games, you can still come here to hang out.

[Okay, seriously, it's getting really hard to resist hugging you. He just about forgot how cute teen!Kory is.]

Yup. It gets pretty interesting too. I've seen all the Titans except Cyborg here, alternate versions of BB, and I've even seen younger versions of me running around.
