He's awake.

Do you have any idea how hard it is for me to stay free? I won't take kindly to you barring me in this cell, Mundane. Even if you were to let me roam in a game - as you call it - that wouldn't be the same as being in my castle with my family.

Reconsider your decision before I become angry.

I wouldn't say so. Hope isn't a bad thing after all.

Maybe. I've always preferred being misguided to not hoping or trying though. Even when it comes to mundanes.

Oh? I'm glad other people feel the same way then.

Are you the sort that needs to be kept in line?

[Sounds like Edgar then. At least this fellow doesn't seem to be half the silver-tongued villain.]

I wouldn't mind it, though that depends on how she feels about fairies.

Some trouble you have to get into for a good cause. It thoroughly depends on the type of trouble.

[I.E. when you flirt with far too many women or manipulate your way into situations.]

Then we should get along fine together. Some people can't really stand the idea of them or misjudge them and those involved with them.

I'd say you're not if you can care for someone else so much.

[She can't help but laugh a bit.]

They can be! I would rather live with one than without it though, even if it does bring a lot of pain at times.

[She ought to have asked this first but now she has to. Her curiosity would get the better of her if she didn't.]

Did you not have one before?
theoldways: ([20] Yet it was there)

[personal profile] theoldways 2013-03-01 02:54 am (UTC)(link)
Oh. He took your heart as payment for serving you while he was doing so?
theoldways: ([50] As the swans in the evening)

A little. It's difficult to know what to do though when dealing with creatures like that.

You've changed your mind now though, it sounds like.
theoldways: ([09] T'was a vision before me)

[personal profile] theoldways 2013-03-01 03:10 am (UTC)(link)
I'm glad to hear that then.
theoldways: ([45] And she moved through the fair)

[That brings a faintly sad smile.]

Mm, I understand. Things were... alright until my mundane decided a game would be a good idea.

[She sighs.]

I felt like I had actually reached an understanding with Edgar even.

Oh no, he didn't. I think things would just be more complicated if he did.

That's quite a list.
