That being said, I'm pretty sure it's a terrible idea to even think of sending me someplace where the language is at a standstill. (Well, actually, that's impossible. Language always changes. Let me rephrase that.)

I think it's a horrible idea that you're even thinking of sending me someplace where I'll wake up in a morgue with my death tag on my toe. I've already died once, I don't intend to do so again any time soon. Please rethink the course of your actions and decisions before choosing such options.

'tis always something with these people, is it not? They've seemingly infinite options at their finger tips and make out as if to use whichever seems the least desirable.

Precisely. It's not even binary options, it's like they pick the most dreadful scenario in the book. I suppose, in the language of the muns, this would be their way of expressing endearment towards us. However cruel it may seem.

Endearment in the form of cruelty? What a novel idea, the sort that would scorned by the masses and yet I am of the opinion that perhaps such a thing may be so. Although, One must be careful of the things one says to this effect.

It's a typical pattern. When you look at history, things that were once scorned by the masses slowly became accepted and integrated into society. Given, some things remain a taboo and there's always the chance of things becoming reversed in time.

It links everything together. Quite fascinating isn't it?

Fascinating, yes, how it at once constricts and yet liberates. A worthy partner in the strange dance of life, and yet we always trying to escape from it entirely, seeking some of kind real immortality, not the imagined kind we pretend we can find amongst those we'd name gods.

Though I wonder if it all means anything in the face of these new strings, and puppetmasters to go along with them. I've no doubt these mundanes will tire of us all eventually, but does not the time seem almost suspended for the period we find ourselves in their hold?

It all depends upon the language. If one were to be in a supposed game, say the one my mun is suggesting. Time would appear very slow based off the surroundings of the line of perspective. Like how a blindfold to these views opens up an entirely different reading of the language.

But, given a different scenario. Things could appear to go by quite quickly. I believe this suspension all depends on our surroundings and actions. (And some inactions.) Don't you think?

It's all about reading in between the lines to find this imagined realm.

I do not know if I can agree entirely that is is thus. We are taken from the very constrains of our respective destinies, pulled to another world at the behest of a mundane who wishes only only for gaiety. While to them it is the simple matter of a passing whim, to us it is shaking the foundations of our very realm itself. Or so one would suppose, but I would have to say that it is no so, either, as we hear of neither fallout nor rejoicing at our absence.

We must consider, then, that it is something of a break from destiny, a release, however fleeting, from it's normal constraints. And if that is true, then time - the only proper time, that of our realms - means but little for the time we are away.

The only real question is if the possibility excites you.

Well, you already know my expressed concerns of where my mundane is attempting to send me. I mean, not all games are fun and full of flowers and puppies and 'read all the things' type of thing. But, nobody wants to wake up in a morgue. It's a rather sick joke I'm afraid. Especially from someone who has already had a taste of death and resurrection.

It's not fun waking up not knowing what's happened or why it's happening. Which is why I expressed my deepest concern to my mundane so that perhaps ill translations could be cleared up.

But different realms can be exciting. There was a world once, if I could, I'd spend an eternity there just to read every tidbit of story they had. Their language was just something beautiful that you don't happen to see in modern day languages anymore.

I can imagine worse fates. What you describe is no small matter, yet once one had started to understand, then it is no longer a threat. It is all about seeing through the illusions and then acting, not sooner or too far later.

I take it you have an inclination towards otherworldly tongues, then? What of Asgardian, are you familiar with it?

All kinds of tongues actually! It is a skill of mine you could say. But, Asgardian? To an extent, at least to what I e been exposed to. That doesn't include the vernacular and traditional body language. At least not yet.

The literary and the vernacular are as of yet not so different. [BECAUSE DEAR GODS IDK WHAT THE LITERARY WOULD BE IF IT WAS ACTUALLY MORE FORMAL. just. no.] Though, I suppose, that is from the perspective of a noble, should you search amongst peasants, 'twould be a different story.

'tis a good skill, either way. One that is oft forgotten.

Language always varies. For an instant, in olden times peasants might have bowed to noblemen but now days they might hold out their hand in symbolic gestures. But, they would hug someone they know, wouldn't they not? It all depends on the status and who it is, but even then, the way they do it could mean something different. You have to read everything, facial expressions, do they bow three inches lower, etc.

Not many people think about it. It's just something all beings pick up on naturally. You follow the example of your parents, friends, or society.
