Do you not think that my life is complicated enough on the island without you wishing for my father and his wife to join Robb, Sansa and me? And is not simply cruelty to pray for Samwell as well? Or do you simply enjoying torturing me so?

[A pause as he raises his hand, shaking his head] Wait, I would rather you not to answer that.

[He huffs] Look, I know you miss her, and I do to. [His mun raises an eyebrow, and he sighs] And Ygritte as well. But do you truly have to take your frustrations on me?

At least you would get to see your father again. That's a luxury not many have, especially in times like these.

Ygritte? I thought men of the Wall had their vows against that sort of thing. [There's a rougish smirk across his face.]

[There's a small fond smile on Jon's lips] Yes, it would be good to see my father again. But not at the price of what would be asked of him on this island.

[He quirks an eyebrow upward] We do. What tells you she is not a sister or no more than a milkmaid or a friend?

[Of course Ygritte is something more to him, but it's not like he's going to admit it to a stranger.]

And what would be asked of him on the island?

Because if your mundane enjoys torturing you as much as you say, that'd make the most sense.

To lay with a woman every fortnight of so. And to live through the whims of the Goddess overseeing the island.

[Oops, got caught] Yes, I suppose it would make most sense.

[No, not really. Not when you're an honorable man with vows and a wife, like his father. Not when the curses Atia puts them through turn men mad with love for their enemies, or have them shatters boundaries with trusted friends.]

[Well, Willas was speaking for himself, but could one not just sleep with their wife?]

[One could, but the Goddess quickly grows bored of faithfulness and before one knows it, their collars stop working with the same partner.

There's a curl on his lips, one slightly amused.]

I would thank you, but it has not been a secret for some time, not to those who's this knowledge would matter.

Well I suppose that's good.

[He chuckles.]

I can only imagine the shocked expressions.

[ A soft smile. ]

You know that I miss you as well, Jon.

[starkbastard]

[OH HEY, long time no see! Jon's lips almost curl upward in an honest smile. But instead, he tilts his head, a teasing glint in his eyes.]

Who said it is you I miss, Daenerys?

[stormborned]

[ First there's genuine surprise, and a flash of hurt, but she quickly realizes he's teasing and settles her features similarly. ]

So you hadn't wanted me to stay?

[starkbastard]

[He catches the hint of hurt in her lilac eyes and while Daenerys is smiling back teasing at him never the less, Jon feels awful for hurting her with a simple teasing.

She smiles, but he frowns lightly, his expression rather serious]

You know I would have wanted you to stay, would I be a selfish man.

[stormborned]

You aren't a very selfish man, though, if I recall my time spent on that island correctly. In fact, you were quite selfless where I was concerned.

[ And she's definitely not going to forget those instances. ]
