[Yeah, last time she saw you was in passing as a child. The gorilla family was too close at the time for her to bother with them, so she'd moved on.]

I'm impressed. Here I thought the jungle would devour you.

[He snorts, certainly not relaxed. He got a nasty scratch last time they met from his perspective... Which okay, was gone the next time the film cut but. You know. Almost died.]

[She's almost pleased. You'll be a worthy hunt, whether she wins or loses.]

[True enough, but being raised by and friends with herd animals alone gives him a rather skewed perspective on the whole thing. Unlike most humans, he can't afford to look at the food chain philosophically.]
