My apologies, but I do not see how this is an improvement for anyone involved. Your time could be spent more wisely by attending to your school, and I would prefer to spend what time I have remaining in peace.

[With the war, maybe sooner than that. But she was fine with it, really, more so in some moments than others.]

I haven't had the time to think, much less meditate. There's always a datapad requiring my attention or a message that needs a reply. It's a nice thought, though.

I cannot say that they will go away. But I hope you can take some comfort in the knowledge that you are doing all that you can, and that you are loved.

Yeah, Thane. I do. [She nodded and offered a smile.] I take comfort in that and in the good memories. Despite all that violence, we've had some good times.
